i tink some of u mite noe that i got a case of ich a few months ago and i traced the source of it to floating salt crystals that burn the fishes wen i changed water weekly. i am obliged to write this thread again because recently, a fren of mind who is unaware of the burning effects of floating salt crystals got the ich again after changing water and NOT dissolving the salts properly resulting in his fishes getting burned and would like to remind newbies with properly dissolving yr salt before pouring the new water in. DO NOT allow salt crystals to float or else they will burn yr fishes. i noe some haf been changing water with some salt crystals floating and yet did not get the ich. wat i haf to sae in response to these people is the salt crystals were very few to cause significant stress....these people haf done a gd job dissolving the majority of the salt so pls...do not be lazy, do not take chances and dissolve yr salts properly

can anione tell me how much the red, purple, pink and rusty purple will cost?

my yuma colony see the one in the centre? it wasn't there last week!...or at least it was there but was jus an infant jus a week later and its so big, the other 2 yumas were 20 and 10cent coin in size but this week, they're 50 and 20 cents in size respectively! its so amazing how fast they grow!

corals bloom hte best at 27 that's wat i heard and in natural waters its 27 so....27 gd!

the manual saes 900-2400l/hr so i suggest u get 2400l/hr then use a valve to control accordingly wat flow also depends on the temp set so u mus try try

oh i see i went to buy a bigger version of this and the autofeeder, i shall set it up this weekend and post the pics here. await my post! btw, got a question, i'm now ready to buy some algae for my refugium but i'm not sure wat algae would be suitable can anione tell me the names of some suitable candidates and hopefuly post pics of them so i noe wat to look for at lfs...thanks!

i jus bought my powdered form of cyclopeeze and tried feeding i realised the cycplopeeze dun sink fast enough and stay floating and get sucked down into the sump before the fishes get to eat them of course, normally wat many will do is get a small cup, put the cyclopeeze in and stir to make it sink before feeding but this christmas, i'm leaving for 8daes and i'm planning to put this cyclpeeze in an autofeeder. obviously, in such a case, the cyclopeeze will be dispensed and the same prob will be faced - they dun sink and get sucked down to sump b4 fishes can eat. its a mighty waste of food and my anthias will starve since they only take cyclopeeze can anione pls advice me on how to solve this prob?

eheim is a reputable brand that can be used externally too but takes up less power so do gif eheim a thought hm...i've neve come across resun model larger than the md55...and i'm pretty sure there aren't bigger ones anione care to confirm this?

i'm using timer for lighting so no worries my anthias feed on dried cyclopeeze readily that's y i wanna noe if an auto feeder is suitable not jus for pellets but for cyclopeeze as well will take note of the remaining advices pegasus! animore to add anione?

rio solid brand man but i dun tink can be used externally i jus tink resun mds are power suckers md55 is i tink 115W and if u on 24hrs, a month it'll cost u $13 of elec bill...very high in my opinion if i were u, i'd look into wat flowrate i wan then gif priority to eheim. if no such model of eheim can provide the required flow then go for resun md. u wan eheim go to petm*rt....u wan resun md go to *qu*m*rin
