for me...me digi thermo is about 0.5degrees higher than the chiller temp...this is normal cos by the time the water gets sent to the tank and is mixed with the rest of the tank water...it would haf gained heat and heated up if chiller kicking in too often is yr problem...then yr flowrate is too high and use teh CA function to get the chiller reading as close as possible to the thermo reading

sps has very strict light and water parameter requirements u must check if both of yrs can support tehm

hey! i did a fresh water dip and what suprised me is LOTS of mantis shrimp nymps emerged from the polyps themself!....as in they swim out from inside the polyps! there were at least 10 that died in the dip i dun noe wat to tink of this!!! does this mean there's a big mother mantis inside laying eggs?

yupz but dun dose too much above 0.06ppm(not too sure of this value) and it'll kill corals the same wae it kills bacteria in our wounds

wa lau...u mean u guys never inspect yr lr b4 putting it in yr tank meh??? to be frank...inspect sometimes also hard to see so wat i did to my fresh live rocks is jet all the holes with strong tap water then the crabs fall out and even after i do that i still find one crab!!!...so its even more important to inspect b4 throwing them in actually...if u find the crab tough to catch an alternative is to let them grow big...no place to hide and not so nimble then easy to catch hehehe another method is take mineral bottle saw off head and invert it so crab has big hole to go in but small hole to come out then put a piece of sae dried krill or sth inside after 2-3 nites crab should be in

how much water can it handle?

u set the -01 or watever value according to the difference betw tank temp and chiller display for eg...if tank temp is 29 but chiller displays 30...u make up for this error by setting it to -01 if i remember correctly its stated in the menu how to set the correct number the -01 or watever has no effect on the temp u set. if u set temp at 26...once display on chiller reads 28, it'll kick in
