sorry alittle confused here do you mean i will need to get a part of the pump that is threaded and place it at the output? then put white tape and get a female pvc pipe to screw in?

here's my update my set is 9mths old now, some problems are starting to surface 1)chiller now starts up with some clanking noise...everytime it kicks in, the sound is there 2)it seems to be kicking in more frequently than b4 and the thermostat no longer detects the same temperature as my external thermometer...no matter what CA value i set, there always seems to be 1 degrees difference what i gather from some people is that the chiller is undersized for my tank...perhaps its time to upgrade

oh if that's the case then i understand thanks

me too eager to know results acidjazz? how's your test going?

hi guys, i didn't know pipe can be directly connected to pump so i first use a hose then connect it to the pvc pipes. i was wondering how exactly can the pipe be fitted directly to the pump? the pipe is hard and isn't elastic so how can it form a air tight seal? with pvc cement? hope someone can enlighten me thanks!

i've been receiving lots of pm on price so i'll list it here. taiwan $15/- denmark, sanyodenki $20-25 toyo: $45/- (3 for $130 and 5 for $210) prices exclusive of 3 pin plug i know prices maybe on the higher side compared to CPU fans but CPU fans are not as strong and are not as sturdy. if you have the chance to see it you'll know what i mean. pls pm me if interested
-
-
price range is 10-20 EXCLUDING 3pin plug depending whether u wan taiwan or japan stuff the exception to the price is the toyo fan, that one VERY strong so its $45/-

optional stuff is fan guard to prevent your hands from accidentally touching the blades

there's been some confusion over what : "If used on system generating 100W of heat, temperature rise will be 1degrees celsius (this is in theory, however, actual cooling depends on many other factors such as ambient temperature of surroundings)" means what this means is in this example, if your cabinet has 100W of heat being generated and temperature b4 these pumps were switched on is 30degrees, then by using this fan, the temperature in theory should rise to only 31degrees hope this clears the air interested parties may pm me thanks!
-
i do have other brands but there's just too many to post. so this is what i'll do write me a pm if you're interested. tell me what you have in your cabinet, temperature inside if closed up, and i will try to find sth that fits you. i will reply with a price (NOTE: WHAT I THINK IS SUITABLE MAY NOT PERFORM UP TO YOUR STANDARD, in that case, i will try to work sth out, perhaps top up to get a bigger fan) also, do include in your pm if you want me to fix up a 3 pin plug for you. (this would cost extra $5/- since i need to get parts for the work.)

Sanyo Denki from Japan Size: 12x12x4cm Construction : All metal, die-cast aluminium housing, steel impellor, impedance protected, Sleeve bearing Life expectency:no info other relevent statistics: 10W, 35db (quite silent), air flow: 57m^3 / hr DOES NOT come with 3pin plug but i can make one for you upon request THEORETICALLY: If used on system generating 100W of heat, temperature rise will be 6degrees celsius (this is in theory, however, actual cooling depends on many other factors such as ambient temperature of surroundings) FOR SANYI DENKI FANS, i have other models as well. It would be good if you inquire on other models depending on your cooling requirements
