  1. yeah,,,that's exactly how they look like i've resorted to catching them out by hand...caught at least few hundreds without overestimating
  2. all items except co2 reserved co2 still available! $80/-
  3. hi all guys, firstly thanks for all the support in this thread from members such as lorensia and cityofangels i'm happy to say that i have received overwhelming response each with equal enthusiasm to pick up immediately! hence, it is with regret that i have to say that pm's and smses to me from interested members shall from here on stop i shall have to take my time to select the "lucky buyer" PS:pls note that i will sell the beckett to whoever i choose, its not a first come first serve basis..for those who have expressed interest i shall reply by tonight...latest tomorrow evening...because i've got so many interested people so if i forget to reply you pls feel free to check with me again. collection is this weekend preferably saturday at my place near reborn to cyberpig: for a 500L tank, i would advise you to get a 32" unit....this unit although able to handle your tank vol, would be insufficient if you had a fairly high bioload...get a 32" unit to be safe...there'll be good offers ard in SRC...check it out
  4. thanks brother! got time pop by see my new one...lagi big can tok ###### sing song also here's the big one...
  5. i have a 24" miniature beckett 6" diamater for sale i'm only selling it at $125/- this unit should be used IN sump because it has just a tiny little leak and is extreeeeemely slowly from somewhere around the blackbox at the bottom, hence using it insump will be totally suitable the leak is extreeemely small and the unit is ABSOLUTELY STILL USABLE the leak is soooo slow you wouldn't notice any sign of leakage while using outsump until AT LEAST one night of use...so this unit is still definitely usable while insump. other than the little leak there...there's really nothing else to be concerned about so for those who want to use a mini beckett insump OR for those who are confident of fixing the leak yourself....this is a very good buy! feel free to direct enquiries or reservations to 91697799
  6. hi davegahan, in addition to what has been said, i would say that whatever bacteria you are adding right...its not necessary because a properly cycled tank should have the proper amounts of bacteria to cope with the bioload (when not overloaded)...so i personally don't think those bacteria things work also...regarding that tampines basement thing ah...brother...they are suppliers...those tanks confirm swee swee one...lol...with tonnes of equipment and livestocks to spare, got fish die they just replace quickly...also, i went there myself before...the damsel fishes...hardiest buggers i've ever kept were gaspinG!...that's a sign of stress!...so seriously, i would take what they say with a hugh pinch of salt ya? just my 2cents of personal opinions worth keep us updated!
  7. i would think its parasite attack...the info i draw this conclusion from is the clue that your invertebrates (shrimp and crab and starfish) were all unaffected by this incident...seems to be either ich or marine velvet. i wouldn't attribute it to the overdosing of sol A and B or NO3..your no3 level is still ok like the previous hobbyist said, you really should share with us your tank setup and cycling method
  8. hey fuel, just checking puffers are agreesive aren't they? wouldn't that puffer be agressive towards my other fishes or wouldn't it damage my corals?
  9. hi guys, a couple of months ago these little snails started showing up in my tank. being too small to identify, i tot them to be little baby snails of the turbo snails i had in my tank the numbers started to swell and i happily clap hand tihnking that its a good things as they can act as algae controller however, a fellow reefer came over and he pointed out immediately that those were sundial snails...upon checking photos of the juvenile snails, alas...those were sundials in my tanks...zoo pests now i'm trying to remove them since many of them cluster on my glass but even more hang on the rocks...off hand i'd probably estimate a 500-1000 of them to be in my tank...no kidding cos its really ALOT. now i need advice on how to get rid of them...i'm already doing some dips on the rocks i can manage to remove and catching as many as i can without disturbing my inhabitants. i hope you guys with knowledge can share on how to rid this...thanks in advance!
  10. hey guys, i just got mine today, its kinda cool that you can arrange the folders inside much like wat you do on your PC. but 1 thing is the start up is so shlooow....but other than that...its kinda cool hey blueheaven...it hink your cousin who bought hers and say not user friendly, i think i can understand why she said that...some of the menus are really non-intuitive and u gotta look thru the manual to know where to find it...and some of its menus are really looong dude....hhaha...but once again...cool phone! how's the vs6? maybe you could play with your cousin's phone too and make a comparison
  11. hi whaomi, i seriously wouldn't recommend that i base my comment only on my gut feeling that tells me it doesn't feel right to do so. but hey, if you find sth online that tells you that u can, go ahead!

  14. hey guys, i'm thinking of buying this phone...any comments or reviews? good or bad just dump it in here man! thanks!
  15. hi guys, hope to get some info on these: 1)does yuma prefer strong or less strong light? (150W?, 250?) 2)does it prefer higher or lower colour temp... like lps and sps generally prefer lower while softies can do well with higher colour temp 3)Current flow?
  16. i believe dkh drop how fast depends on the intake from your corals or coralline algae etc...i doubt there is a "normally drop how fast" thing different tanks should be different...i believe alvin's kh stability is due to lack of kh absorbing organisms mine drops 2-3dkh a week, that's 0.3-0.4 a day no problems so far for a yr already i personally prefer to use seachem reef builder (POWDER FORM, not the liquid bottle) becos of the precise adjustments i can make to my water, if i remember it correctly, 1TS per 100L will raise your dkh by 1. so in your case, you can simply dose and adjust everyday or everyweek depending on your preference you can also try kalkwasser, however, again my personal preference and favourite is still seachem reef builder
