bro, if u rewind play and re-record will spoil hard-disk then your computer loooong gone cos u also alwaes delete copy and paste and delete files tio bo??? ccd is the chip inside the camera. its sort of like the recording film. aniwae, dun rush into getting equipment, its very ex and make sure u know wat u buying. now singapore sale ma although elec items discount not much but there's a whole lot of advertisements. todays paper featured quite a few camcorders...from jvc to sony to panasonic. and sorry but i think mine features 2mp, not 1...lol aniwae megapixels is not as important as the lens itself. lens will make or break it since its the very first thing that light passes thru. if lens no good, image no good. so do make a wise selection

dispar anthais having some skin problem
shoelevy replied to big_ben102000's topic in Disease treatment/parasite/pest control
probably marine velvet? post a pic. very hard to tell without one cyanide caught will result in a weaker fish it wun cause a disease per se but it would weaken the fish a pt where its immune system is too weak think of it as putting super spicy stuff in your food and you get a sore throat. its not the chilli's fault, more of chilli irritated u so much that u got a sore throat -
i just bought a jvc hdd one. that means it records on a 30Gb harddisk. it also supports SD card expansion so if your digi cam uses that kinda card its soooo convenient. the best thing i like about it is that its the lightest and it has light infront to light up dim places for recording. it features 1mp ccd. personally i think hdd is better cos it offers editing and u dun haf to bring extra dvd around when u travel for long journeys etc...not sure if the dvd one has that. just bought it yesterday and my dad took it to taiwan with him so i haven't played around with it enough to tell u more...so sorry!

if fowlr do a blackout for until the fishes are ok just turn on the lights during feeding time feed with garlic soaked food. if got corals do blackout for max 48hrs-72hrs same thing, on lights when feeding and feed garlic soaked food. dun bother yourself with those medications. they dun work in my very honest opinion. and if your fish happens to be very skinny or passing out white shit, i suggest u dun go bak again its common for cyanide caught fishes to end up with a fate like your dispars...but if they were not cyanide caught, then sth is very wrong with your water or your acclimitisation technique -
your tank is small, which means u haf to watch for fluctuations in all parameters....temperature, kh Ca ph etc etc becos your tank vol is small and it takes only abit of stuff to make the parameters way out...so becareful i would suggest u switch to seachem reef builder (POWDER form). it allows for precise calculations on the kh boost (assuming u r good with maths and know abit of simple chemistry) or u can opt for kalkwasser, boosts both kh and Ca as for lightings, corals need good lights, which means there's heat involved but not much heat is involved for pl or t5 compared to mh lights. so using a fan should be able to keep your temp down. but do note, if u use fan your evaporation will be super high...everyday must top up, which means there'll be fluctuations in SG, so u MUST be patient in topping up water, don't go and 1 shot top up alot. slowly drip the water in. and if can use distilled water from watsons, those mineral water. tap water not good, alot of chemicals good for humans but not good for corals. also, carbon is 1-3mths change 1 time. don't see instructions say 6mths u change then u change....lol, i can tell u by the time 3mths your carbon already very ineffective.

pmed u shortly after the last postings pls check!

think your tank is not crashed u shouldn't have added that super copper thingee....run carbon, lots of it.carbon can absorb medication in water and change your water...change LOTS of it. 50-80% is wat i would do. not necessary all in 1 day. maybe today 20% tomorrow another 20% etc. infact i think its an ich attack u had instead of a tank crash leaving your tank without fishes for 2mths would have more or less settle it and adding fishes slowly later is already ok with that medication u added i only worry for your lps corals or any invertebrate later when u place them back. pray that nothing happens. hope things go well for u bro, nothing much we much the rest of us can say or do except for hope that things go well now cos of the medication u added

hey bro just check with u for sps temp is ok at 28 rite? if so then cl650 is ok if like 27 then i think it might overwork

sometimes u can gif it a good rock, like rocking chair to dislodge bubbles trapped inside.sometimes its just bubbles restricting flow. also some media fluidise easier than others. like the new sorb4 personally i find it fluidises very easily

wat model depends on wat u wanna keep ma if u wan sps and your liverocks is heavy scaped, think u might even wanna consider 6100 if your rockscape like mine, little bit bit then 6060 is ok also. 1 big disadvantage about seio is the power consumption i not money buy tunze so i'm actually using seio for trying to make current for my sps. the only advantage i can think of is its smaller and cheaper. IF i had the money, i would go for tunze. but frankly for the budget concious i sincerely think seio would suffice aniway, regarding controllablity, seio is coming up with this http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...topic=46959&hl=

a bigger chiller would be resun c0500 1/2hp my cl650 serving me well cooling my tank and keeping temperature there at 28degrees. i think it take 30-45mins to chill my tank. i do beleive my tank has got way more heat that yours bro so if i can use it, i think u can too my system has got about 500w light and 380w worth of pumps. but if u wanna keep the temperature lower then i'm afraid u should look at a bigger chiller instead
-
wa another big tank in the making, same size as mine somemore, welcome! for fan in the hood, need to know if your hood is open at the top, or issit an inwall unit. if its an inwall unit with totally no room for ventilation i would suggest getting fan for ventilation. if yours like like mine the top of the hood has big gaps for ventilation then not really necessary for ventilation fans bro imo 20kk lights par is not good. 14kk better. and i'm afraid 1x250W mh is not going to light up your tank evenly, the spread is prob about 2+ft only. if its the viewing pleasure u r worried about u shouldn't be too concerned since u haf actinic installations

actually frankly i dun like going to shops to ask for advice, because only you understand your system, what it can provide for and what it can't the shop can only give u general advice. u ask this coral easy or not, as long as not those notoriously hard ones most likely will say quite easy la, just medium light and flow what i suggest is read in this forum or u make some reefing friends and ask them about their experience with a particular coral u like. if u wan i can be your friend wahahaha
