  3. the common pink n pinkish red Scleronepthyea are not tht bad... the orange one u told me abt at AM... was really diff based on ah beng n AM stock health.. the bigger the size seems to be having more issues..
  4. hey terry i think u shld update this trend for those nps tht are almost impossible to be kept alive in captive.. though they might b cheap n readily available..
  5. i think still got abt 3-4 pcs available at ah beng at 1 green note lolx.. real cheap.. i am only feeding mysis to my tank, but feed only the liquid/juice of the mysis not the dead bodies..and let it circulate in tank w/o overflow for 45mins i am also exploring into new food like phytoplankton.. i will be only mixing diff ingredients instead of feeding different brands of same ingredients.. if u see new life spectrum fish food n coral food ingredients.. other than the size.. not much of a diff...
  6. i agree with the visual effect lacking of the roots.. hmm.. the roots prob wont come in so early as hv to think of something creative..
  7. i hv the rock as per the pic for sale 1 ft X 1/2 feet rock is little crack from top right hand corner.. selling at $18
  8. the pvc tree structure.. the branch structure is all hold by light or fake rocks.. which contributes to only 30% of the rock weight at the bottom which is already cable tie and "goop"
  9. oic u r refering to the tank bottom glass safety aspect instead of visual aspect? rest assured the murphy law will nt take place as the rocks are drill and cable tie to a 4 pvc pipe structure, its test with very high cg.. some of the branches are eggcrates glue to small pebbles of rocks
  10. waaaa where u wanna squeeze ur nxt setup in?lolx
  11. haha... like seamoths???? lolx BB concept is to keep maintainance time within 30mins weekly

  16. sometimes the anemone will accomodate itself more to the flow than light, thus it might hide in a dark corner n starve itself of zooxe, try adjusting the flow direction then.. there is no cfm fixed spots for them
  17. anemones is same as yumas, always placed them at bottom to avoid shocks frm light when purchased. they excrete some zooxe in their color cells when they are shock, thus explains the bleaching, however color can be recover in matter of time, unless we r talking abt totally bleach white...

  19. it only eats the fish when it is injured while hosting in it, unlikely for the case of tangs..they prob flow towards the anemones tentacles when they are unable to swim properly
