  1. Hey bro, you shld b using low flowrate for the POX4, as long as the media is tumbling and not overflowing, it is ok. You will noticed slower growth of diatom on glass for initial stage, i have topped another 50% of media according to tank capacity after 1st 2 weeks with no adverse effects. There maybe no signicant difference after tht as it will take some time to compensate for the large amount of phosphate in live rocks.
  2. hws reddie doing? maybe u want to compare mh v led intensity, naked eye cant tell much...
  3. my apologies, i was refering it will feed in the night.
  4. it only feeds in the day.. i have 3 with me.. they are good hair algae eaters...,however if your hair algae grow above 1cm, they tend to not eat. Plucking on a algae region tends to entice them on the area at night. do beware of the parasite i posted in the previous post...

  9. i heard pox4 reduce significant red slime algae growth, does it help in your tank, since u are one of the heavy feeders? i was kind of worried on the other parameters for sth so efficient. but havent receive any negative feedback so far on forums..
  10. i think it is best to based the phosphate lvl on the algae growth, its a long process removing the phosphate in rocks, however if everything goes well, the 0 and 20 prob doesnt matter.
  11. very nice carpet! can post more update for pox4? thanks =)
  12. I believe anything new added shld go slow.. based on the internet review, they comment, only replace after u see algae growth.. so then u can use the old pellets for regeneration... the regeneration involves quite abit of washing, but who knows we can always use the water at our workplace... not sure can regenerate how many times though...
