i thought lights w/o timer is a headache, manual dimmer is a pain,he hv somebody there to dim it manually? -
thanks for the input, but i find credit cards are abrasive to tank surface, filter wools often traps little grain of sand/stone during cleaning scratching the tank in long run. LFS aunite told me to use sponge instead of filter wool..

Sorrie folks took me something to find back the original post lolx.. The following is their reply to me when i requested on CREE instead of Brigdelux brand bulbs: Hi Joe, The CREE leds is different from the Bridgelux , the chips is bigger than Bridgelux one, the replaced things would be easier for the Bridgelux one. To make sure the Cree can woke the best, the way of assemble is harder than the Bridgelux one. Also you can not replace the Cree one with Bridgelux leds, Is the instruction sheet clear enough? did you got the point? If there is any problems please tell us. Regards, Roery in short i think he meant the chips and the bulb not compaitable... would the LED DIY gurus advise??? -

it depends... i mean the forwarder they use is DHL, more people with lesser weight is the best, but dhl may round up the weight figures for their easy calculations -

i must say the initial person who intro to me was terry and then LCF was using the product for his tank post also.. hehe maybe he can shed more light, as his is led main lighting mine led is solely use for the supplement of actinic blue, in actual it is extremely actinic and saturated colours, maybe tht is explaining why we always say those fancy corals are fake, using photo shop over saturated.. seriously there is no photo shopped just tht the led light makes the photo without editing very saturated. below is an uneditted photo of my nem.... -

the doors are symmetrical on the other end... i dont really like tubby, existing sump can last min 15days
-
tank viewable are : W360 X H410 X L1080mm, Sump : W360 X H410 X L300mm Dont do the same as me, alot of calculations is required with regards to the sump area ability to store water and the evaporation rate at (i last check was 1.14litre/day) due to the long rectangle large surface area, my previous 2 feet cube was only around 800ml/day. You guys may want to use white silicon to reduce on the general effect. I dont think will change for another 5years since the warrnaty is 10yrs, i was afraid of the algae marks so i use black silicon. most importantly wife says :"NO WIRING ALLOW ON CEILING!!!" RBTA : No it is not from iwarna

tank is a 12mm normal glass, dimension : 14" X 16" X 3.5' the sump is together as an overflow sump. I did not do the sump below the tank, dislike all the extra pipings... I must say bro Mc Queen crystal glass makes my tank looks dark, but when i gone home, i realise the black silicon and foam base, and reflective thick glass makes the tank internal looks darker than normal, if compare to a white silicon thinner glass and white styrofoam base..
