Dear All, I am letting go my entire reef setup due to financial constraints. This tank and its inhabitants are special in the sense that no chiller is required, no protein skimmer and only minimal maintenance is required. The entire set up is 1 year old. Temperatures can get up to 31+ degC in the day without a chiller, and as you can see, all the inhabitants have been surviving well and growing within the past year. The sump is running only on marinepure blocks with a chaeto refugium, with no protein skimmer for the past year. Hardware: 120x50x51cm CRYSTAL GLASS tank with cabinet and sump 73x40x45cm Sump with baffles Skimz return pump QP6 2x Mars Aqua LED Lights Kamoer ATO One Fuge Light Jebao Wavemaker Will throw in additional equipments and supplies that I've bought over the years Inhabitants: Corals: Green Mushroom x many Toadstool Leather x1 Finger Leather x2 Ultra GSP x1 big mat Orange Mushroom x3 Yellow Mushroom x1 3 color palythoa x many Red & Green Zoas x many Green Pipe Organ x 3 Green Palythoa x many Green Torch x 1 Mystic Torch x1 Blue Hammer Coral x2 heads Red Plating Montipora x1 Green Plating Montipora x1 Green Hairy Mushroom x4 Pink Zoas x many Oz Neon Green Leather x1 Pink Chalice x1 Forest Fire Clove x few heads Golden Clove x many Kenya Tree x1 Duncan x1 John Deere Lepastrea x1 Red and Green Blasto x1 Orange Hammer x1 Green Frogspawn x1 Fish: Clownfish x2 Lawnmower Blenny x1 Common goby x1 All in for $2500 - looking to sell as a whole set Open for discussion Thanks for viewing!

I set my chiller to kick in at 30deg, and cool down to 28.5deg for my 4ft tank. For the past few months it didn't even turn on, because the weather was relatively cool. Only few days ago when the weather started getting hotter then my chiller turns on once per day for 1.5 hours. Rest of the time it remains off. All my corals are growing, no deaths. So if you're concerned about electrical bills, this would be a much more economical solution. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Do you still have the water in the bag that came with the fish? Check the salinity of that and see what it is... Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

2 hours might be too short, previously I drip acclimated freshwater mollies to convert them to saltwater over 16h, they still died. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Thanks to kind reefers who passed me your usernames, I have forwarded to those who needed. In the meantime, I am "backordered" for chaeto myself up to 2 weeks. Any more requests can still come in, but do note the waiting time, thanks! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

I would strongly recommend you check the salinity of the water it is in, then match that to your current water. And don't forget to drip acclimate Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Wow interesting, did you test the salinity of the water it was in from the bag from c328? If it is really freshwater and you put it in marine, osmotic shock might kill it although initially it appears fine Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
