  7. I'm waiting for a reply from the threadstarter. Apparently he neglected to mention that the skimmer is modified, if it was the one bought from me which I suspect it is so as it fits the description. Selling at a profit is what pisses me off most.
  8. Is this the one that I sold to you? If it is, I can't believe you are trying to make money by selling it $5 more than I sold it to you.
  9. Hi, Maxstar just wondering how your mushies grow so fast. Do you keep fragging them? Also, if possible can you frag some mushies for me if you don't mind? Will trade them for LR if you want. Thanks.
  10. Actually I've experienced my other mushrooms falling off the rock. I didn't do anything, just leave them alone.
  11. Just bought a hang on filter today. Had not decided what to put inside the compartment yet. Any recommendations? Also, I've moved my diadem dottyback from the main tank to the nano. I plan to move my clarkii clown and goby too. Total LS for nano: 1x diadem dottyback 1x clarkii clown 1x goby 2x turbo snail Would this be too much for the tank?
  12. Closeup of mushrooms. Anyone knows why the orange mushroom is shaped like a cup when expanded?
  13. Another shot Current LS in the tank are 2 turbo snails.
  14. Another shot of the lighthood (sideview). I had to saw away some parts as I wanted the lightset to look flat and compact, not bulky and high.
  15. I spent the whole day making a custom lightset for the tank as I couldn't find any suitable lights for such a small tank. I took my old 2x36WPL lightset and mounted one bulb on an old 2ft FL light hood. The new lighting brought the tank much justice and I'm really pleased with the outcome, I'm running a 36WPL 10000k for my light now, may add another 36WPL blue tube in the future. Meanwhile, to remove the yellowish tinge, I use a cheapskate method of cutting a piece of blue plastic bag and stuck it under the tube.
  16. After much sourcing for lights, I got so frustrated that I made a custom lightset for my 1.2ft tank, with 36W PL 10000k.
  17. Hi, sorry for not being more specific. I do know that you are using the mini clip on light which is a PL. I would like to know the colour (kelvins) of your light tube, and for how many watts.
  18. I;m really interested in what likd of lighting you use, may I know how many watts and the kelvins for your PL light?
  19. What I hate about it is that people are using the wrong terms for the wrong reasons.
