Heard that to achieve the optimum performance with deltec, the water feed supply should be constant. Best is to have additional feed pump rather than doing the gravity feed.... Furthermore additional 10w doesnt make much difference

I would think in terms of performance, BK is better. But whether does it deserves the price delta.... Esp the price delta can get me a MP40W pump Did some simple calculation: Assume price difference of $550 between the 2 (after discount ) New electrical tariff of $0.3045/kwh AP701 using 1260 pump (65w) and needs feed pump (say 10w AB1000) Total power is 75w vs SM200 using 35w. Every day, AP701 would consume 40/1000 x 24 x $0.3045 =~ $0.30 To be on par in cost would need (550/0.30)/365 = 5 years!!

Hi Guys, Appreciate some advice. Am looking for a insump skimmer for my new 5x2x2 tank. Undecided between Deltec AP701 or the Royal Exclusiv SuperMarines 200. Deltec is $650 cheaper!! Understand Bubble King is the Skimmer Roll-Royce Wonder whether it is really worth that extra $$... Comment is most welcome.

Resplendent Pygmy Angel???? Cant even find one in SG so far.....believe the price also I went HK in may, but didnt see any Resplendent leh...... Interesting fact: The World Conservation Union (IUCN) has placed the Resplendent Angel on its Red List of Threatened Animals (1996). It is the only marine angelfish species on this list. While this species is common in Ascension’s coastal waters its population size is considered vulnerable because it is restricted to a tiny island locality. You really saw lots of them???????
