Calibrate my ph probe.... Cannot remind pple the importance of calibration periodically. My ph probe show 7.4 ph when I m using a ph 7 calibration solution. Meaning when my controller is at 6.5, it is actually close to 7 rather than 6.5 haha! Monitoring now and hopefully things will be btr! Long time no update.... Since the last upgrade, melted a few sps and due to the previous job requiring me to travel liek crazy I lost tons of Live stock... Now at my new job n with Covid going on, decided it is time to stabilise the tank! Changed to a new skimmer tat can go up to 2000l Added a bunch of rocks, now my scape have even more space for corals.... Hooked up a jebao doser.... Added another bunch of sps frags from a reefer! 2 months have past quickly! Much have happened over the 2 months! 2 weeks ago, my power bar broke down and my tank went without power for 2hours... luckily my tenant saw my tank have 0 movement and informed me... took urgent leave and no casualty haha! Added some sps... now due to traveling have yet to add the elegance coral that will take my middle rock as a showpiece... sps are encrusting and growing... added some frags from a fellow reefer waiting for it to stabilise... Day 6! Decided to set up my dosing pump after all... hooked up Aquaforest Component ABC to support my CR... dosing 5mls a day over 5 doses.... Tank running 100% AF products with Orphek lights and maxspect gyre and return pump! Happy to see my lps settle down and happy... got a frag of sps to test out my water... Yes the chiller so far so good. Typically it kicks in and out within 15-30mins? I did not monitor but the problem is I just find it a tat noisier den my old chiller... Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

My new tank finally up and running... This tank set up is not without its ups and down... the whole set up took 3 days before anything could go in... Cabinet came in and chiller couldn’t go in, they made the adjustment, putting in sand rock, water and let it stabilise! Set up all my equipment, drill in all my Controllers and doing wiring management... Thks to Van bro for his help as well... otherwise I think the tank is still not running yet haha Also! My Orphek lights came and got set up! Now running it on aclimatising program... I must say I am very impressed how 1 unit can cover my 4ft tank... my 2 supplement light OR2 bars will just Ensure my 2.5ft Wide tank is properly covered... planned to on them when my sps are in.
