bros out there need some advice from you guys, I understand during new tank cycle there is a big chance to have diatoms issue so I will like to know can I do a tank cycle without lighting? my understand is diatoms required not just phosphates but lighting to grow. is there any good way to avoid growing algae during new tank cycle? many thanks.
