  1. Looking for a chiller, preferrably 1/3 or 1/2 HP. Kindly PM me with model, price and condition, thanks!
  2. Wow looks nice - these are really going for a steal .. upz for u
  3. Just a heads up, anemones need a lot more light than zoos and yumas. Definitely nothing short of a set of good T5s or MH for them, so with a limited budget it'll be wiser to stick to a FOWLR for now, as ervine mentioned.
  4. What about an Ice Probe for a tank that size? Fans are ok, but with such a small volume, you'll be seeing quite a bit of salinity swings. Hmm .. and ... a regal tang in a 15G?
  5. It eats stuff floating in the water column, so unless your shrimp is small enough, around the size of mysis, and swims around all the time, I don't think there'll be any problem. I have 3 tilefishes together with ###### shrimp, glass shrimp and cleaner shrimp, so far no predatory problems yet.
  6. ML: Ricordea yuma, various colours Blue rhodactys mushrooms Venustus glass shrimp Arrow crabs Cockscomb oyster Bartlett's anthias Show-size AT Chevron tangs Flame angels Very nice frogfish .. pink and yellow
  7. Ping is right, try not to startle them. I find they like larger chunks of meaty food, mysis does just fine for me although they are starting to eat henry's food and a bit of cyclopeeze. They also tend to hide in gaps between LR and sand, and usually only come out during feeding time.
  8. MEDIUM PIECES roughly about 4-6 cm in length 1)one reserved.. 2)Dleecool 3)one more gone.. 4)DragonGoby SMALL PIECES 5) 6)
  9. They also have several baby short-tentacle plate corals, less than 1 inch across and a few per rock. Quite a lot of gorgonians - blue, dark purple and orange with yellow polyps. Green star polyps Clove polyps
  10. Wah!! You're the lucky chap who bought that special black one? Good buy ...
  11. Most sea slugs (nudibranchs) also have very specific diets, so unless you are prepared to buy specific corals/sponges to feed them, please don't buy any.
  12. ML had about 3 square anthias on Fri, but not sure if still around anymore.
  13. It's black with 2 yellow stripes .. not sure how the juvs are supposed to look like, but the adults have the stripes in the same pattern. Hmm .. should call and ask
  14. Those are really tiny juvenile Scribbled Angels. Cute!
  15. Might be purple turf algae if you can't easily remove them by stirring around the area. Mexican turbo snails are known to eat them, but in the meantime check your water parameters to see what could have caused the algae bloom.
  16. Just some suggestions on relatively-easy to get corals which are also quite easy to keep: Blue- blue mushrooms Green - star polyps, Scolymia (prata) Yellow - yellow polyps, many toadstool leathers are also actually yellowish when their polyps extend
  17. Should be enough, but you might want to reconsider getting 4 blue bulbs. Generally the more blue the spectrum is, the less the PAR (photosynthetically-available radiation). For a 4-light combo maybe 2 x 10,000K and 2 blue-based lighting will be a better choice.
  18. Agree man - purple queens are really stunning, but very difficult to keep. Pity ...
  19. Had a similar problem with my flame angels, they like to peck at rocks instead. Had good success weaning them over to frozen food - start off by getting them interested in live brine shrimp, later mix some prepared frozen food with the live brine and they eventually will take the frozen food. Or try cyclop-eeze, for some reason everything in my tank go nuts over this stuff.
