  3. Pics looks good bro. Can share where to buy and the cost? Thanks
  4. Can I hijack? LOL. I’m using both biohome and siporax. Still have space for media. What would you recommend. My main aim is to bring nitrates down. Not so keen on reactors due to space constraints. Thanks
  5. I got some PMs with regards to this. LOL LCK 201. Yesterday still have about 15-20 pieces. Normal price range is $65 upwards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Always like the “ugly” algae blenny. Reminds me of a bulldog! Lol. So tempted to add fish yesterday. Someplace selling flame hawk for $45-$50 only!
  7. A lot of diff sis compared to a month ago. Very nice. Maturing well. Doesn’t look like new tank at all.
  8. Not much new stuff sis. Nowadays paiseh to post after seeing so many nice corals pics from the masters here....lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for the info. Didn’t know bubble magus have this too!
  10. Bro do u mind sharing the clari Sea cost and how long one roll last? Thanks
  11. Didn’t use Orhpek lights myself, according to other bro. It’s very powerful, but as u said, not programmable. I will think it may be a overkill for a 3 feet. Dosing pump can come later since ur not going triton. Maybe can prioritize ur initial equipment to save some moolah. Do shop around since ur not in a rush. Do look at AI Hydra HD lights too. Bang for buck.
  12. May want to take a look at Ecotech Radion lights Teco or Artica chiller SICCE pumps The skimmer may be a tad small. Can-consider same brand but different size? Ur going triton? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Ur setup doesn’t seem like ur new to marine tank.....lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I’m a newbie too. Got lots of information from this forum. Do search through the tank threads. Many experts here with customized tanks for ur reference. Choose one you are more inclined to and that will be a good start. For myself, chose off the shelf tanks for a start.
  15. Found quite a few after the lights were off. Close I could get is bristle worm. Read dotty back eats them. But could harm my cleaner shrimp. Anyone can help ID? Thanks.
  16. Back after almost 2 weeks holiday! Nothing died, but some corals showing signs of STN. Did a 15-20% WC and checked parameters. A bit off. 6.8dKH and nitrates are at 15ppm. Hopefully things will be better!
  17. Thanks for the prompt reply bro! Appreciate it!
  18. Sorry for the bad pic. Can’t take a good shot. Seems like a outbreak of this creatures. Are they harmful? Thanks
  19. Wow! That’s really a lot! I do get some but mostly are tiny and not as many as yours! Maybe time to change brand! Lol
  20. Thanks for the very detailed experiment bro. Gave me a very good idea of how long the small 500cc freezes bottle can last. Initially thought it could last longer than I thought. Will freeze more just in case! Thanks again!
  21. Did 3 WC the since yesterday morning. Normally I don’t test for nitrates. But someone my gut feel told me too. And boy, my nitrate was at 25ppm. Did a 20% wc and dropped to 15ppm. Did a test a night again and it went back to 25ppm. Did another 10% wc. Just checked this morning and it’s still 25ppm. While doing another wc. The real issue surfaced! Finally! Dead moth in the sump which only showed today. Realised when the refugium light is on at night, it attracts a lot of insects and moths. This time it got stucked and i couldn’t see it. Decided to ask my helper to turn on the lights only when the main door is closed and be more vigilant in her checks.....cos I will be away for almost 2 weeks! Pray nothing dies....
