I’m crying inside.....but no tears.....lol

I think the LEDs should be fine. Only the lenses are damaged. Fingers crossed....need to visit reef depot. Hopefully doesn’t cost me another arm or leg....no limbs left after I took up this hobby....
-
I made a expensive mistake. Multi-tasking. Never had issues with hydra cos the lens is covered by a flat plastic diffuser (in-built) and doesn’t turn to the max by default. 2 lens melted and a Cushion cover gone. In a matter of less than 10 secs. Almost caught fire man. Hope this serves as a bad example....

Yes bro. I stopped keeping track of how much I spent in this hobby the past few months....if my CO knows, I’m dead....
-
Time to put some corals in!

“New” used lights from a fellow reefer. Need to remove the salt deposits on the tank mount. Soak in pure vinegar? Or is there a how many parts formula lol

Sirius' Rimless Shallow Mixed Reef
Jeebusai replied to nuclear_fibre's topic in Members Tank & Specs
Yes bro me too. I’m a tech idiot. Maybe u can consider getting a electrician to make/split an additional power point (lower Chances of surge etc?). One power point is using Berkin. Comes with surge protection and free isurance lol Another PowerPoint comes with an APC extension/back-up battery. The wave makers are powered by this. So it really power failure (happened before) can buy a few hours. Just sharing. -
Just came back from CF. Saw so many nice gobies. Very very tempted....but decided not to. Let me know if ur selling a pellet trained goby. Lol

Good to hear ur tank is safe with minimal damage done. Love to have apex but can’t bring myself to pay for it lol. I’m sure when apex is up and running, it will be able to monitor ur tank. Maybe can add one IP cam? Too many high end corals in ur tank! -
As usual, amazing pics from an amazing tank!

Nice! Do show more pics of ur gobies feeding! I love gobies but don’t dare to try keeping them!

Bro, ur power leh. Last time I NS don’t even have enough $ to go for canteen breaks and top up eZ-link card. U still can build Marine tank!
-
Your right. I can’t bring myself to buy that “thing” too.....
-
Ur damn good! Put guys like me to shame lol. I was still thinking of the Skimz reactor (abit exp). I saw the pvc pipe. Smarter way than to black out the TLF reactor.
-
Is ur chaeto reactor new sis? I’m seriously thinking of this or a ATS. Refugium didn’t work for me.
