yea very infomative i shall say... hmmm for all those that didn't go, we have pics coming up! but not many though... thanks to deepblue .. hopefully he posts it up soon... then all can learn
should u put?? hmmm up to u... if u think your sand is dirty and if u're sure it won't get to the PH, get the donkey dung cuke from ML... just got back from there.. they have ALOT...
seriously speaking anthony, i don't mind paying more for something like a probe if it serves the purpose well.. did u use the same materials as in titanium spokes? u would not want something rusting in your water
does your probe look similar to seahorses' probe?
see the thread in the DIY forum... seahorse is making it for people.. just add your name to the list... hopefully he has more probes... i just did a review on it too..
another pic...
hmmm but if u find any runaway current in your tank, the appliance causing it should be removed and replaced and not be kept in the tank...
connect it to any 3 pin socket but you don't have to switch it on.. put the titanium spoke in the tank and... no more loose current!
the thin metal strip is the probe and the pump u see there is the one that is leaking... hmmm no prizes for guessing...
ok dudes, just got the probe and it's working.. have some pics of it as well... very simple looking device actually that will be unnoticed even in the main tank.. to start of with, this is the whole probe...
thats not the case all the time actually... depends on the switch.. some switches will restart the comp immediately when depressed.. no need to let it move halfway back... i tried that with my new comp thinking it would work but it didn't so now everytime my comp hangs, i restart!
the light from the MH bounces of the reflector and ends up on the floor beside it... result... waste of light!... unless u put your MH very close to your tank but temp would increase and u will not have space at the top to do maintenance...
everything is possible.. for awhile..
u can use a small motorbike and change the sproket(how do you spell that??) to increase it's pick-up speed but in the long run, you'll be damaging the engine..
james lai?! are u the real one?? t5's are a certain kind of tubes that are more powerful then the normal FL tubes... come in diff wattages for diff sized tanks.. can check our sponsor for the wattage and price... T5's can be used to support softies and lps without much problem but SPS and clams need MH.. hmmmm personally, i think MH is the best buy! might be slightly expensive BUT u get the best bang for your buck!
rolling your eyes??? haha my tank very empty after rescape... need somethings to fill it up... opps your tang almost knocked the zooanthid off the rock!
cleaners need to be quarantined really well! starfishes im not too sure.. but i quarantined mine though... snails no need... just put them in.. or at least thats what i did might be wrong but my snails are still alive 8 months later
heard of the new product... Contraphos? bawater i think has done a review of it in the reviews forum... just use that... available in PR for now only i think... u can get rowaphos which is damn expensive too actually..
hmmm i don't think u can strengthen it in any way... does euro-bracing help? maybe makes the top stronger but then the base? hmmmm better for u to spend on a proper tank rather then let it crash...
1% of your mushrooms can still make me DROOL!! i stood in front of your tank for 20 mins i think yesterday and i didn't even want to go home
and ermmm correction woonming... u got a $64 pair swimming in darkness...
