it was actually in master.. then i made it a slave.. scanned.. found no bad sectors.. practically nothing in inside the HDD anyway.. only OS.. (winXP) and maybe real player.. now it's back to master... still can't work.. hmmm there is no warranty sticker on it.. only a date.. May 2002 ... which means it's still under the 3 year warranty (hopefully la ) and it's an IBM not hitachi.. i actually brought my old hdd there and replaced it with this one.. and i got this one from digiland so i assume i can go back to digiland and exchange for a new one anyway i'll try my luck later.. see how it goes.. forgot how to go there liao sungei kadut...

hmmm im suffering from yes another setback.. my backup pc's HDD is a deep shit.. i was using an old 5GB hdd for around 2 mths when i changed to my usual 40GB IBM HDD around 30 mins ago.. started up the pc, and the HDD make funny noises like something being scratched internally.. then it started up as usual.. when they were loading windows, suddenly a blue screen poped up and " UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" is what i see as the error.. i understand that IMB HDDs have a 1 to 1 exchange at digiland bldg for 3 years right.. err can i possibly exchange my HDD there? did it once before around 2 years back... they did not check anything and that was because i dropped my HDD or if it's not the HDD, does any1 have any other suggestions on what the prob may be? thanks in adv!

i think that more effort is needed to run a 2 footer then a 4 footer.. small amount of water = big problem when something goes wrong.. like what every1 suggested, get a weipro 2012.. very cheap only.. then a cannister.. then after a while when you're comfy with it and u think u can go further, either upgrade to a bigger tank or ad in an overflow box and a sump.. have more equiptments, remove the DSB from your main tank and transfer it to the sump, have a 250W MH and start to keep SPS... ... actually it'll be easier just to upgrade.. unless you're short of space la that is..

for crabs in the LR, i blasted every nook and cranny with boiling water no, i did not dip the whole rock in, just use a syringe and squirt the water in the hole, either a crab would be struggling out half cooked or a worm would be squirming out.. but u cannot use those normal syringes.. need the huge thick plastic ones if not cannot hold it wif u fill it with hot water...

if u want to go JB and make.. damn cheap.. holiday inn plaza or angsana shopping center recommended! done up proton waja swee swee for RM 250 only.. extremely nice side 'vinyls', hood, bonnet and boot cover.. but only 2 colours.. maybe would be more ex if u want pics or more detailed sickers la..and another thing is, they don't paste it for u.. and all their stickers are reflective.. (easier for hiding tp to aim speed gun at your vehicle.. )

since it's only games, im now guessing it's the graphics card's ram... not the MB ram.. try some movie making software and see if that also causes the pc to reboot itself..

problem with the ram? since it's new, i think u can just take it for 1 to 1 exchange rite if u got it at SLS. they would test and all la and try to make u believe it's not your ram.. BUT then again, it could be the slot in your MB housing your ram.. happened to me once.. ram burnt, and every programme i open that requires quite abit more mem, freezes and reboots the PC..
