usually cycling is completed when ammonia and nitrite reaches zero... for nitrate to be zero, DSB and a regularly harvested macro-algae refugium is needed... almost a year it has been since i started my tank and my nitrate is stagnant at 25ppm until now... did u add any medication to the water? any powerheads with steel shafts? u can lower pH by adding the seachem additive.. not sure of the name but im sure there is an additive..

u feed your fishes twice daily? thats too much.. about once in 2 days is what i do.. marine fish do not need alot of food errrrm because of the metabolism rate that differs from freshwater fish.. feeding brine shrimp (thats most likely frozen) will contribute to phosphate and silicate levels... nitrates will also go up.. hmmm did u recently stir up the sandbed or anything? u said u were having an algae prob.. what algae was that? cyano? hair?

not all clownfishes will host at at anemone... sometimes clowns may choose other things to host at... u can have 5 anemonies in your tank but the clown can choose to host on the star polyp for eg..
