hmm u have to change everything... since the wattage is higher, u need a bigger ballast.. eAN has nice ATI retrofitted T5 sets... maybe u would wanna go take a look there?

was driving a 02 corona 1.6l GLI before trading in that for a new sunny.. had to pay an extra of only $5k! but then the fuel consumption ah.. hmmm the civic ure talking is which year's model? if im not wrong, it's a 5 speed gearbox isn't it? but the thing is that civics usually have a small interior... accords are better.. but the new accord is 2.4l...

yea i know i should not be comparing a 2.0l to a 1.6l but really according to roidan, camry has much better fuel efficiency than the sunny! around 12km/l for the camry.. and considering it's a 2.0l car (assuming roidan does not floor the pedal ) but really the sunny 1.6 is very heavy thus the high fuel consumption.. heavy but does not double up in size..

hmmm just to add on here.... my dad got the new Sunny 1.6 and it has really awful fuel comsumption! it's like full tank (1st tank) can go up to 300km only! then he was like pissed off... thought the fuel tank leaking also! then he's thinking of trading in this for a Camry 2.0l... does any1 here drive a camry2.0l ?? i read abt most of the stuff abt the car in the forums like bodyroll while truning and stuff but no really solid info abt the fuel comsumption... anyone? thanks...

woaah hair algae! don't remind me of that period... a few weeks ago only did it totally go away! i had it for like 6 months! to make it totally go away, getting snails or tangs wont help IMO. u need to take the rocks out, scrub them well in your tank water. then make sure there is no more VISIBLE strands. then u introduce the grazers (snails being the cheapest and more efficient for me), u'll also have to reduce photoperiod drastically and reduce feeding. for me, i just upgraded skimmer and reduced feeding at 1st and it did not work.. one day my MH blew when i wanted to turn it on.. and i had to use some old set of PL lights. that is when the hair algae totally vanished! lights really do make the difference i guess... of course, water changes are also as important lah... good luck in your brave battle...

you, without a hint of doubt, WILL, DEFINATELY, get sick and tired of dismantling the canister! get IAN's overflow or diy one... another dude DIYed his overflow BTW, maybe u can go check it out at the DIY section. a sump is a better option... moreover, a 2 footer with a skimmer occupying 1 corner dosen't sound sweet... my opinion only lah but it's really up to you...
