errrr... hammer and most hard corals out there require lights that are much much much more stronger then the pink lights you use... you'll also tend to notice that the colours of your LS are more vibrant with T5 or MH lights.. IMO, pink lights are not suited for marine usage la..

hmmm priv is helluva lot cheaper but u don't guaranty that the instructor is a good one unless u get some good recomendations... learning from sch is good because u know those instructors are trained and they are supposed to follow a schedulde as stated in a booklet upon enrolment at a center. as a priv learner, your TP test i think is only 4 times a year? im not to sure la but i know it's really little! as a student the the sch, monthly? bimonthly?

the wood would usually be laquered la so no need to worry abt the water being absorbed into the wood... should be some solid wood as well though... anyway, what wood?

no sticker... just make sure the water level is at the tip of the whole tube when u remove the collection cup... with the cup taken away, the water should be bubbling at the top and not overflowing...

UPDATE Tank still available.. willing to let it go at $500. -comes with ruturn pump and 2.4ft sump. -central overflow. MH with new capacitor and 6500k bulb going to $75

actually ah, i don't see a use for this tv UNLESS u've got a really small house... but if u can afford to buy a plasma TV, u can definately afford a big house... IMO, a projection tv is good enough but not viewable from the sides...
