So today i gone to CF and saw three mantises, male at a fairly cheap price so i grabbed the smallest one. The mantis is very active in the bag while im acclimating it, its a huge difference so i plan to acclimate it slowly but my annoying sister go and put it in after 30 min and the difference between the two tanks salinity is still so huge! Then the mantis stopped and become very ignorant of everything and basically did not move at all Except for once which it actually turned around to walk but very quickly stopped again. The eyes is moving and is aware of the surrounding, it also clean ots eyes periodically. But the most scariest thing is that it does not "use" its "claws" when i try to look for response, it did not even bother turning into defencing posture. Is this normal or am i about to lose one my favourite mantis? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Okay so i got an octopus two days ago from pinnacle aquatics which is about 1.6 inch and its not eating at all? The uncle there told me that they dont feed it at all so they also dont know what they eat. I tried catching purple pincer crab, proceline crab and small sized stone crab. He is not only not intrested but seems to be scared of it.. But he did take two broken crab leg with meat exposed but im not sure if its eating it. Ive also tried frozen mysis. What strategy can i adopt to get it eating? Thanks! (By the way the octo looks like a sydney octopus? The colour and shape kinda matched.) Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Today i feed my new addition moray for the first time(i once have a snowflake so i attempt to have one again.) I feeded it mysis cube and after that i goes CRAZY! It started swimimg like crazy and tries to poke its head out of water. So i feed it again and it eat it quickly and then it started swimming more Crazyily(is this how i spell it?) And it start to get out of tank , i succesfully put it in again and then it settled down, then it go crazy again. Am i supposed to worry? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Unless u literally fill the whole tank with copepod[emoji23] [emoji23] jokes aside you should try to get the pet to feed on mysis. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

If u really have eggs. That means the water is ideal for them.[emoji4] if you want to raise the baby clown i suggest do a seperate tank with only air pump and fill the tank up with rotifier and then copepod and then treat it like a normal clown. Good luck to you! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

They probably hosted the bowl as an anemone[emoji23] is the two clownfish paired when u got them, as it may be bonding behaviour. If not i suggest u keep a watchful eye. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
