  1. Your tank is too young and small to have these two fish.. Copepods hard to find and not sustainable to keep buying to feed your fish. If you want to keep these fish you can set up a chaeto refugium at the same time try to train them to eat frozen. If you are not willing to go through all that trouble, I suggest returning the fish to the store before they both starve:/ No need to let these poor fish suffer Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  2. What is your salinity now? Bring it down slowly through a series of small water changes over a few weeks so your corals don’t get shocked. Not sure about mineral water, but I will just use tap water and anti chlorine if you don’t have rodi Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  3. I use a fine aquarium sponge to block the bubble. Make sure to fit the sponge tightly so all the water have to flow through the sponge if not the bubbles will escape into the DT Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  6. If your protein skimmer is new then it might take some time to break in and start pulling out nutrients so yeah you can go ahead and turn it on first. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  7. You added your Prodibio all at once in the beginning? My guess is that the bacteria starved before your fish food started breaking down.. Maybe you can try adding more Prodibio. I used BioDigest to cycle my tank Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  8. Do you have problems with your macro going sexual and releasing nutrients back into the water? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  12. Your mushrooms might be in an area with too high flow. They like really low flow and will fall off if they don't like where you placed them. For the piece that floated away, put it in a tupperware with some rubble on the bottom and it will eventually attach to one of them. After its attached you can place it back on your LR.
  13. This tank looks super nice. The wait must surely feel like torture[emoji23] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  14. I would recommend upgrading your rbta tank so you can start collecting different color btas! Also, having three tanks to maintain might be quite tiring. However, more might certainly be merrier.. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  15. Instead of going by time, I prefer adding cleaning crew after I notice algae starting to grow. That way I know my CUC won’t starve. Watchman goby, clowns and shrimps are quite hardy, especially cleaner shrimps imo, so those are good starter additions. Stock slowly so your tank can handle the bioload. 16. Usually for acclimatizing you would add abit of water, wait 10 mins, add abit more water, wait another 10 minutes, so on and so forth until the original volume of water at least doubles. For shrimps they are a lot more sensitive so you have to go through the process a lot slower. In future you might want to drip acclimate, it’s more gradual and you don’t have to keep going back and forth every 10 mins. Just use those air pump tubing and gravity drip the tank water into the bag. Simply tie the tubing into a knot to control water flow. Tighter knot = slower flow. I usually do 2-3 drops per second.

    Crystal clear

Do more water changes, siphon detritus off rocks and sand. Can also try dosing Prodibio bacteria. I find my water is clearer after dosing, but that may just be psychological effect.. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  18. Did you acclimatize your fish and shrimp before adding to your tank? Maybe they died from shock.. For anemone I suggest you wait a few months for your tank to stabilize first, they are quite sensitive Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  19. Your tank doesn’t have enough algae for your urchin. I would suggest giving it some seaweed/nori so it wouldn’t starve Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  20. Nice rock scape! For the snails and slugs you can try making a DIY trap. http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f20/diy-pond-snail-trap-126550.html Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
