  14. Depending on Budget I Guess. Maxspect would be good too. Below $1k but all lights controlled together. Can’t do too advance light control. Only 4 basic lighting channels. If you are a season reefer who wants complete control, go ai I Guess. If same as me, just want to enjoy, Budget a little and they can grow can le, go maxspect ba. End of the day is, how much you plan to spend and you plan to hang on celling or just place on top of your tank. Don’t take my word for it. I’m new too. I just Google and read what other people discuss. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] FYI. Poll was in 2013 Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  18. Standard Common Name Common Sydney Octopus Alternative Name/s Gloomy Octopus Identification The undersides of the arms of the Common Sydney Octopus are rust red in colour, tapering to a tip, which may be the first thing you spot emerging from under a rock ledge. Size range 80 cm Distribution The Common Sydney Octopus is found in New South Wales. Habitat The Common Sydney Octopus is found on intertidal rocky shores and in the ocean. Feeding and Diet At night the Common Sydney Octopus hunts using its sharp beak to feed on crabs and molluscs, such as snails and bivalves. It can change the colour of its skin (normally mottled brown) and shape to imitate seaweed. Other behaviours and adaptations The Common Sydney Octopus is territorial and sits in its lair during the day surrounded by rocks and rubble that it has collected to defend its home. The octopuses' fleshy mantle can be used for jet propulsion by sucking in water and squirting it out through the siphon above. Most of the time though, they use their eight suckered arms to creep about over rock surfaces in search of food. Octopuses are protected and cannot be taken from ocean rock platforms or Sydney Harbour. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  25. I bought the bubble magus one. Should last 1-3 months before needing replacement depending on how dirty your tank is. Mine currently running for 2 weeks. Used up 1/3. So mine should last me 6 weeks. Think was 200+ but measure your sump design. I had to tear down all my partition and re silicon to fit it in. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
