Hi experienced reefers, I just bought my first.coral which is a mushroom coral . I have dipped it in rodi water for 1 min.. so i was wondering wads the maximum duration for it actually? My marine pure are placed before protein skimmer.. as my most narrow part is at the second compartment which can only fit the blocks and nt the skimmer nt sure if it will affect.. marine newbie here too.. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Cos my first sump compartment have sponges as mechinical filter.. so i guess most of itnwould have sucked into the sponge and protein skimmer comes after my biological filter:: so i guess also sucked in Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Hi thanks for ur reply i see.. i saw that fresh and marine has this product call nitra-guard bio cubes that can remove both nitrates and phosphates.. sounds like a win win. But the thing is i m afraid to work with bacteria cos i wouldnt wan a cyano bloom or smth.. though i do have a uv sterilizer working for the tank currently. But at the same time as what u said.. sulphur raises tank ph.. so both have its pros and cons. Ok i will use phosphate reactor with the rowaphos Now need to find a better way to remove nitrates.
