the holes allow water to pass tru slowly with the help of an overflowoutlet pointing at the side with the holes , added 1 gallon of Caribsea mineral mud, the refugium is placed in such a way that i can shift it and clean the glass if i wanted to in future

saw his tank today, amazing n interesting way of doing his tank, looks like a reef valley
