things u need to take note of is cooling, if the outdoor ambient heat goes to over 30c , your tank will be cooked and u can have fish soup, and you will have to maintain 0 po4 all the time if not your algae growth will be fantastic. but its worth a try , surely you can find advises and help from reefers here since not too many people have a marine pond, it be cool to see 1 with natural sunlight blasting on it

duno plus i wont be feeding the tank as i am already culturing rotifers and setup another pico tank to culture pods , so only live feeds for my gobies and there will probably be only less then 10 pygmies inside , 2 of them already waiting for me at ml and 1 inside my quarantine tank lol

whitespot is a very irritating issue , especially when there are all sort of myth going on such as leave ur tank fishless for 4-6 weeks and you will no have ich , others say ich is always in your tank, i choose to believe the 2nd theory , because how else an ich free tank for almost 1 yr , and my powder blue tang which was quarantine for 3 months ich free ,get and infect my other fishes a few days after putting into the main tank. Take your infected fish out , use copper on it ( search online for the proper method ) , dont bother with hypo salinity ( it works but it will kill the owner more then the fish). then as for your main tank , feed many times a day to make sure your fishes are eating so that they can be strong enough to fight the parasite , for those that are weak then put them into the copper quarantine and hope for the best , if you can find this anti parasite freshwater fish food by tetra that contains menidazole , please get it and also let me know where to buy it as that is supos to help

well if its a sunsun its just sold for 20+sgd for similar specs in sg , i've had very very very bad experience with a few famous online stores from states like AMA**N.com and HORSEP*WERFREAKS.com , when it comes to refund and faulty items they either ignore you or gives you tons of crap, so in my opinion unless the item you are looking for cannot be found , no similar products , too high mark up , and you're prepared to throw the money away if the product is faulty on arrival then order , if you want a good reliable product , you can always get a controllable tunze nano stream or a vortech mp20w , but of course its more expensive (300-500) but fun to play and good service support if the wavemaker was to break down

for my true percs pair , they host in anything from leather to true octo but just refuse to host the bta, i can move their home anywhere in the tank and next day you will see them finding and hosting it , now i also give up in letting them host the bta already , so long as the coral they are in is not irritated with them i'm fine

good article bro had i read this sooner i might not have lost my AT to ich recently , doing hypo is a torture to me my water bills and my fishes even thou its only in a quarantine tank, in my opinion the amount of water changes done due to hypo is definately not worth it , because doing a hypo that can kill off the ich have to be fast and the drop to 1.009 have to be done in 24hours for best effect. but that also kills off most of the bateria found in the filter which in turn raises NH4 and NO2, thats y alot of water changes are to be done , i almost finished my whole bucket of DD salt in 1 month plus 2 cartridge of Di resin and lost 1 AT , so all in all just to save a Powder blue which causes the whole ich problem to break out , it costs me $300+. but like u said corals fanatics always thought that copper is bad. i think i will go and get some cupramin soon too once my powder blue is condemm to my sump and i change a new quarantine tank

torch corals require very low to med slow flow , you will notice if the flow is too high you will blow the tentacles out of it. whats the dimension of your 20gal tank?
