  1. you can try this acrylic maker at Blk 1 Defu Lane 10 , 2nd floor , next to a sewing factory , if i remember correctly the name is Henkari Plasticworks but you will have to give him a detail drawing to make , not bad price , he made my 4ft sump with 7 compartments for $350 so far the sump is leak free for the joints
  2. i had a previous incident where my old tank flooded , and my current tank was in the midst of cycling so i had to rush and save as much LS as possible and dump them into the new tank , and most of the LS survive, i think what is most important is the PH and that the salinity is as close to the old tank as possible

  12. hey sm , i already roughen up my screen both sides and added another bulb maybe arn 2700k 20w , and also wash up the screen last nite , hopefuly this time i see better growth, but regarding flowrate what is optimum? 1: a smooth flow to always provide a thin curtain layer of water to flow over the screen 2: a rapid fast flow but i wil encounter some splashing and microbubbles when it hitsthe water surface now mine is more or less set to 1, as i am using a ball valve to control the flow i have no idea what the flowrate is

  17. i've personally used alot of return pumps before aquamedic or6500 , rio32hf , Sicce multi 5800 , ehiem 1264, red dragon 6.5m but never tried aquabee my personally fave of course is the best but out of the rest that i have previously used , i give my votes to number 1 to or6500 and sicce 5800, ehiem runs a little hot rio32hf gives shock plus it runs really hot and heat up the entire tank aquabee heard from quite a few reefers saying that it has very bad hear loss and not recommended to be used as a return , no personal experience thou
