Moving aiptasia infested rock/coral to new tank
Reef2Max replied to Harumachibito's topic in Soft Coral Forum
IMO kalkwasser, hot water , joe juice and aiptasia x all will work .. -
how often do you think we should calibrate our refractometer for accuracy ?
-
what skimmer are you using ?

laying over the netting on the profile and inserting the rubber seal to hold it in place. This roller is extremely useful and easy to use to secure the netting over the matts cutting off the excess And finally it is done ! First look on the netting with and without seem to be ok without affecting the light penetration .. Will try to do more update over the next few day .

Thanks for sharing.. I was wondering as well if my light was too strong.. I was worried about the corals if I going to tune it down, but maybe I will give it a try since most of my corals are lps now. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Need advice for newbie in this hobby

I read from some where that for a quarantine setup, the water parameter should be close or similar to the main tank to minimise stress after the transfer Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app -

I was doing some research online about the imbalance on high nitrate and low phosphate level in a tank, and it seem that the reason is due to the redfield ratio. So i tested it out and remove the rowaphos and using solely nop0x to help control the nutrient level and it really seem to help. Recently testing show that my n03 is dropping as well now ! is this an effective product to bring down nitrate and phosphate ?
-
i think carpet anemone are more deadly compare to RBTA
-
did some water parameter check yesterday, and nitrate is way high at 0.5 , and phosphate is at 0.04 .. still thinking of a way who to control this

Added a stronger return pump as well, and remove my chiller pump. I try to cut down on the number of pump to use to reduce heat in the water and hopefully save some on the electricity bills So basically this new pump will pump water from my sump tank to my chiller then back to the main tank .
