I used to have a fijian bubble tip anemone that eventually rotted away in a hard-to-reach corner of my tank for unknown reason. I couldn't remove it & slowly it 'melted' away...however it didn't pollute my tank or release any toxins. Luckily, my fishes & corals were okay ! So the size of your tank matters.

well it's kinda nice to see clowns nesting among the tentacles of anemone...but do consider what you will be keeping together in ya marine tank. If u want to keep LPS or SPS, then my advice is to skip it to avoid killing your expensive gems. So far my paired African clowns have been living happily without anemone. Yet it's interesting to see them nestle among my bubbles or even my zoos colony.

unfortunately there are no corals that are immune to BTA...i'm afraid u got to remove or sell it if u want to keep other types of corals.

well it's certainly a painful $lesson$ for me to see a healthy fleshy exotic colors pratas that have been with me for so long...that became an expensive tidbits for the regal-star. Now I have to think of a way to catch the bugger.
