  6. Hi, juz visited the Sumenep area which is well known for some marine LFS shops. Location : The area is right down the road after you passed Kuningan Seafood restaurant which is a 5 mins drive from Mandarin Oriental hotel. Impressed with some shops selling mainly LPS corals especially Alm Tropika Aquarium with its 3 huge-sized aquariums, stocking different & exotic types of LPS & softies. At last, I have managed to see an orange true octos in its original state which is really huge & almost roundish shape. I must say it's really 'swee' compared to those specimens here that have been broken into smaller pieces. Frogspawns are plentiful too... Gorgonians here are plentiful with so many sizes & colors to choose. Sun corals are super big...large polyps ! Mushies...wow...so many different colors...orange, striped, blue, hairy...& all on one rock !!! And yes not forgetting ZOOs...wow man...imagine those you came across in books or reefers sites...you can easily buy those from here...eagle-eyed red zoos, pink zoos, greenish-yellow zoos...& most come in big pieces ! You wouldn't believe that the cost is about $6 per rock for those specimens. There are also reddish & greenish yellow star polyps...favias, moon corals, red pratas, orange cynarina...really mouth-watering man ! Here are some pics which I have taken. Enjoy !!!
  7. wow surprised to learn that her situation was almost similar to my bro's dog...juz that someone dumps him out of the house instead of bringing him to a vet or SPCA. And he was badly infested with bugs & fleas...
  8. whoah be careful mate...emperor well know to nip & peck on corals. My advice...Don't Try.
  9. oh dear... I suggest u try to call SPCA to check. My brother dog a Maltese was also lost after running out from their Pasir Ris home somewhere near the MRT. After a week has gone, we were told that she was picked up in Bedok wandering around by police & was sent to the SPCA. Imagine the distance between Pasir Ris & Bedok. To make the matter worst, he got no tag cos' my brother did not put it on him that day. SPCA kind heartedly put out an AD on the following Sat & it happened that my brother saw the AD & enquired about it. So I pray that your dog will be found real soon.
  10. The best bet is to do the PH tests yourself...
  11. The Rhinopias spp. has fascinated many reefers alike. The following is an article explaining the bio-nature & care of this exotic but endangered species which I certainly hope will help to increase its survival rate in a captive environment. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/may2003/Fish.htm http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-11/hcs3/index.php
