Sydney? They have one resturant that have a all round marine tank I think.
-
No problems... Actually my 1st Oversea Marine LFS is in Japan, Tokyo before I have my Marine tank. It is just sooooo clean and organised. 1 fish 1 tank, my god...

Last pix. Marine LFS. Most marine store are bigger than fresh water ones. White tips sharks are also for sale.... All pix are courtesy of Motorola V3 so dun complain abt quality. One place that is worth visiting. But so much variety of equipment really make things difficult to chose which to buy... Oversea LFS visited: 1. Surabaya 2. Guangzhou Next destination: Hong Kong maybe, heard it is also big...

The RESUN shop.... Our cheaper alternative in Singapore.... Here nobody recommend RESUN but they recommend Hailea. I mean the local brand... Looking at the range of product, wow they have more than chiller.....

One thing that I like is that those equipments that they carry. One may think they only carry China made equipment, DEN YOU ARE ALSOLUTELY WRONG.... They have a wide range of imported products on display.... To name a few: 1. Tunze products controllers 2. Ehiem Speciality shop 3. Pin Point products and controllers 4. German made tanks 5. Teco Chillers.... 6. Additives I wish I have such a wide selection in Singapore... Also these imported stuff are cheaper compare to Singapore, not to mention those china made equipment... I also saw our singapore made skimmer... IDEC

When I say order LS, they have a catelog of marine fishes that you can chose. Select and wait for the order to come in. Most LS came from Hainan, China...... One supplier in Hainan invited me to go to his fish farm but they only do wholesale... So I choose not to waste his time. A look at all the LPS...

Another Look. Another stupid thing I did is that as most shop close at 5pm.... I miss some of the marine LFS that is already close... Waste too much time at the airport )

Hong Kong? I have heard about it over the forum here, in fact some ppl here that are interested marine are from Hong Kong. It will be my next visit when I go Hong Kong. Now, a look at some of the marine LFS... Many foxface and some tang. Coral are mostly the regular mushie, bubble, frogspawn, hammer, giono... Really nottin really spectacular I can see. Some giant anemone... Check with LFS that anything if you interested, you can actually order and the can get it for you.

Sorry miss this. World cup blues. 420nm
-
It will be wiser to look at the spectrum rather than the name. True actinic comes peak at 420nm and blue pro approx 450nm. Iodine increase algae... Not that I know, check if the bottled iodine contains PO4.

Mission near impossible. But it will not die. It takes years for the skeleton to even grow back.

Excessive dissolved calcium, does not really cause too much harm to reef. It is the PH shock that it may create if you dose kalkwasser without slow dripping. Kalkwasser in most cases, maintain the calcium and dun really adds to the calcium reading (Almost very rarely it shot beyond 500 as I only topup with kalkwasser water). As for the lights, Blue Pro and actinic are really blue tube that deviates in spectrum, having said that, it depends on manufacturer. Amazingly same spectrum actinic tube looks different with different manufacturer. If you want to see a great color of the coral, try the true actinic from D&D. You will see the difference.

Blue light??? That I'm surprise. Blue light does enhance the color but not exactly life supporting. I using 6500K for coral growth. My biggest mushie is 4" when expended. Iodine also enhance the color. As for CA, it is really for hard coral, not so much with softie. But it does affects PH and KH to a certain extend. Thats why we drip... for slow adjustment but not PH shock.

Hi all. Got 3 red Blasto for trade. Name me the frag you have, number of polyps available and size. Interested in ric, us zoo. Attached a pic is good. Blasto is red, most is at least 5 polyps. I bought from indonesia for $28 a piece. Blasto is same as here. Sorry no pic of actual pic, as all in sump now. It is more red than that but same gene. I will consider sales at the same price $28, if offer is too lousy. Preference will be given to people that met/deal with me before to avoid pilots. Collection will be latest by Wednesday at Toa Payoh as I go China on Thursday.

I want the zoo can? I pick up on Sunday.
