Actually, I confuse with how the overflow works, care to enlighten?

Sad to say that this siphon flow is doom for failure especially using undergravel filter as outgoing from your main tank. Even you manage to maintain the flow initially, overtime it is sure to fail. Pump even though comes with fix flow spec, sometimes cannot maintain at a constant flow, i.e tolerance. Too high, your main tank overflow, too low, bottom tank overflow. Juz use a overflow box instead, and it will solve ur problem.

Actually Guyz; We do not need accuracy that much for marine, but it is good to have a refractometer as it is so much more convenient to use and slightly less messy. The floating hygro is the worst as it is simply disturbed by the current/flow in the tank. If no current, it is still accurate. The floating arm hydrometer is good enuf for marine and most cost effective. Me I use the floating Hygro for 3 years, only last month uses a refractometer, and find it is more convenient.

This is tough to make it adapt to a new food source. It is best to bring him to a small confined QT box if possible to feed him the new meal. Then when acustomed to the new food, you still need to clip it to some where. Bleenie dun chase food in the tank. Suggested food: 1. Japanese seaweeds, oil free. 2. Spirulina If there is Tangs in the tank, you will have to make decision to give blennie away. These food tangs will eat up before bleenie has any chance.

Okay guys; Update. There are numerous PM and now I need to get ride of the clam real fast as they have cloud my main tank with their stressed spawning. Because of that I would like to get ride of the clam within today. Two doesn't seems to be doing very well and may perish. But I no expert. So not to cheat you guys, you may like wait a while until the clam is out of stress. Although any expert in clam who can help me is appreciated. But mine is a 30G so I expect a ammonia spike bcos of the massive spawning. I did a 30% water change already and running my 2rd canister filter with full carbon, I think I'll pull thru. Doing 2rd change tonite. Okay guys; Update of my test with the customs at surabaya to Singapore. I bought the following: 5 clams - 2 fist size and 3 half fist size 2 sun corals 1 mushie, which I tot is yuma but now I think otherwise 1 dunno is octo or frogspan or torch 1 Brain Coral, Trachyphyllia Total damage: approx 270000 rp abt 50SGD, excluding transport. Arrive at surabaya airport, and my driver go check with custom if it is okay to clear custom with coral, the custom lady claims that I needs govt papers to clear custom for those stuff I buy. My driver say 20,000 rp will do the job. But when I clear the scan, they miss me totally, hahahaha. Pay notting as bribe. Arrive a Changi Airport, questioned by the custom officer what is in the box. I told him live clams. Then he ask me to hold. Luckily from behind came a bunch of Indon chinese that have more boxes than me, custom caught up with them and demand them to go for scan. I stood there for a while and decided to proceed as the officer went to the scanner with those indon Chinese. So I still do not know if I can bring them in or not. I will be selling or most probably trading some of the stuff, go to the trade post for update..... One clam is reserved by Bro Maxstar81.... If you are reading, santa's here.

I think at this instance, it is best that whatever left, let someone adopt for you first. Otherwise sure all up lorry one. I left one month and I check all the corals, wah pianz, they doing really well man... My wife only top up kalkwasser... Except glass and sand damn dirty man.... The Giono nearly occupying 1/4 of my tank.

Thats what I think, the resin must be so low grade ones. Some words I do understand like the RO can filter up till 0.01 micron... But really quite cheap but dun know worth the risk or not.
