Dunno where this red algae comes from... The LR was long dead for 1 year plus.. Cook them a few times liao, even with fresh water, still somethings grow out of no where after I use KW, strontium, trace elements, magnesium and iodide... During FOWLR, I got nottin, no green/red algae, tube worms, now I have them all... Dun know good or not.

The Cheapo zoo already spread to adj LR, now I separate it from mother colony...

ya oso got this nice GSP from Reborn. I wanted it to spread to adj rock but have not happens.

With the T5s, I wanted more. Look up and down for alveropora, but cannot find. So brave it and got this goniopora for Bro IanToh... This is my very first $3 zoo and mushie from reborn. Since july 2005. Now the mushie are smaller now, 3 mother mushie has splited and floated away. I found 2 behind my rocks. Rip them out and now in Betta.

This is the red algae, it is a small, un-noticeable 1 month ago. It is growing like mad. It is growing everywhere... Bros who come to my house last month for frag workshop did not notice it right? Bros here maybe can tell me what algae is this. Is it good or bad?

I have been using AquaPharm SeaBalance A & B and iodide since I convert to reef from FOWLR. I am still using it now. I'm also using AquaPharm Kalkwasser for calcium. The reef are doing fine, with no surprises. Good or bad. I do not use anything else. Last month, I got my hands on some AquaZ free gift for the mushie workshop. Calcium, Strontium, Magnesium, Iodine, Triplex and Golden pearl. I use the Strontium and magnesium since I already dosing the KW and iodide and Sea balance from AquaPharm. By using this two addition, my tank has boom. Some observation, coraline algae grow much faster compare to one month ago. I guess that is bcos of magnesium supplementing the calcium in my tank. Red/green algae is growing everywhere, even in the back of the tank. Dun know good or not, but they are nice up til now. Tube worms came alive on long dead rocks. Bcos of strontium I guess. Zoo are spreading over to other rocks. Mushie are splitting naturally. Fishes are eating more and grew. I also did my first calcium test for the first time using new AquaZ Calcium Test. I must say it is very accurate compare to my lousy NO3/NO4 test kit. My measurement - 435ppm . Ideal calcium level.
