The one and only super glue that will suitable is industrial grade Loctite. Not off the shelf type. They are more expensive typically more than 10SGD. Try Loctite 304. Can be found at major Hardware shop, but not home fix. The distributor is in Kitchener road.

Yes. I mod myself. The spare controller is a standard controller I got from China call ATC500 or something. Sorry no pix as I not in town. You can search in www.taoboa.com for 温度控制器. You will see lots of those controller and cheap.

I have the same problem long time ago. Did not get a resolution no matter how what flow rate I change to. By the way, too high flow rate slow down chilling rate... to a certain extend. My resolution is to install a external controller, set you back more than a hundred dollar. If you are interested, I have a used spare controller, for you to test but not for sale. Nothing wrong with energy saving bulb as in phillip tornado or Osram etc. I have used it before for my sump tank for cheato and coral frag. I used the 21W phillip cool white which is 6500K. That is the best one can use. Any bulb will be yellowish. Problem I found is that it is difficult get reflector, which losses >60% of the 21W if not used.

To anodise CPU Aluminum, try some electroplating shop off kallang basin or Eunos. Custom table just go to any carpenter shop. Both of which is not cheap.

I dun think anybody does that. Cycling is very much cultivating bacteria, so your tank is supposedly low in nutrients, but silica in water promotes diatom. Not taken so much by cheato... So cheato will slowly wither away...

If you add coral after 1 month, I must say you are quite a newbie in reef. My guess is that you probably do not measure your water too much. Take it with a pinch of salt. Keep your finger cross, and please do not buy any corals for now. If you have enough lights, you can rule that out and focus on the immature water parameter. Simply put the button does not like the environment it is in. Water parameters goes beyond NO2, NO4, ammonia, or whatever else we measure. The first thing in my beliefs is that the tank has to be ALIVE. ALIVE means it has abundance of micro-organism not visible to us... which your tank lacks. A good chance the coral is now gone.

Welcome Welcome. A 1 ft tank is what I have when I started, with many lessons learn. Things I will do: 1. Increase water volume by using a good canister/sump setup. 2. Minimal cycling, if you just grab some water-changed water from reputable reefers which they do monthly/weekly. FOC 3. Do without or minimal lightings but keep Sun-flower corals, if doing a reef tank. They are beautiful. Place it near windows, alway from direct sunlight. Algae will be minimal... Good luck

No need skimmer, since when the anemone dies, your five fish will go with it. You put anemone, better make sure 28deg temp max and Strong lights. Mid range skimmer is the cheapest equip among those setup for anemone... Just do this... A ceramic Cup and 5 clowns... No need skimmer

Dun quite get your sequence of events. It will help if you list what KIA first. Some Zoa dun do well with LED. Anemone always dies without a valid reason thus shunt by advance reefers. Seafan need high flow, less lights.

It should last as long as your Air conditioner with similar servicing in between. So go figure.
