Hi reefers... i just saw this floating on my tank water surface when i came home during lunch hour... quickly scope it out... it looks interesting yet I'm worried this is something sinster to the tank... i got some corals for my new tank yesterday... wonder where this came from cos i did a dip "revive from 2 fishes for corals and invertebrate" for 10min before putting them in my tank...

Hi tuajia and all experienced reefers, 1. how do u make the sun coral open all the time and also 2. what do u feed them to make them look so "chubby" ? I just bought a sun coral but it is not opening it out... been taking it out to target feed with defrost brine shrimp cubes... quite a tedious process... got to literally coax them to eat by hanging on brine shrimps at the mouth until they suck it in... but no success to see them open up with tentacles showing... i goggled n view YouTube videos on suncoral feeding... I fail to do the covering suncoral with half a mineral water bottle n turkey blast into it... so went on to try taking suncoral out to feed daily... thanks in advance!

Faced with similar problem... my Zoas started closing one by one... water parameters stable... but nevertheless went ahead to do 10% water change and shifted from left side of tank to right side. Then they open up... so far so good for me...

My take is it can if you are not particular. So long your led is not the pure red colour kind...
