You mean water parameters or tank? my tank is 2 ft ios. Water nitrate less than .5 po4 around 0.03 ca is around 430 kh is 8.3 mg 1200 salinity 1.025

Hi fellow reefers... my tank recently suffered a wipeout of 2 clowns (first inhibitants for 3 months) ... 1 yellow tang (second resident for 2 months) n 1 bi colour blenny ( last arrival for 1 month). yellow tang was 1st to die with spots appearing n disappearing after a few days n back again n gone again until one day it lie on sandbed... the entire process about 1 month... the amount of "white ants" look alike start to populate in my tank n my spots appear on blenny after yellow tang died n killed it within 2 days... then it was the clowns a week later... Even with all fishes wipeout, these ants like things continue to infest my tank for 2 weeks already... R these ich worms or something more sinster? What should i do?

No worries Ben, there are many desktop tanks that are successful too... try looking up subzerolt's thread where he has a desktop tank by his window... just note that the smaller you go... the easier for the parameters of the ecosystem in the tank to swing... depends on what kind of commitment ($$,time,etc) you wish to devote...

Hi Ben, i guess there are many pinned articles in this forum that can take days to read which was how i started... I had lots of questions when i was reading and many bros here were kind enough to reply my queries and guided me when i pm them. Finally when i took the plunge into reefing, met many bros/gurus up along the way n learnt much more from them. Btw all these are in a short span of 3 mnths only... so this is my journey so far... hope it helps

I did not on my skimmer and chiller and lights during Cycling for 6 weeks. Just make sure you have something like market prawn to kick start Cycling with dosing bacteria. Welcome to reefing! I'm a newbie too!

Wow... how long u dip in distilled water? I saw some youtube vid they say still gotta watch out for eggs... eggs won't get nuked...
