  4. There's this small tank at ah beng's place which is running on a prizm too. However, he was using the normal type of surface skimmer that you earlier mentioned. It can be done, but cos it will be not a correct fit, thus you got to improvise a little.

  10. To add to what tone had said. Some of the senior reefers here are achieving wonderful results for SPS with T5s. It does generate less heat as compared to MH. But i think using MH is still a norm for many users, so the choice is yours. happy reefing

  20. I agree. This idiot Mazda 3 driver knocked me from behind in a jam, reversed and disclaimed liability. In the end, Dad said to rest case cos damage not serious. But can't believe the integrity or rather lack of it of such pple. This stupid couple was blatantly lying in front of their kids and denying the whole thing happened.
  21. I bought mine in Chatuchak, Thailand. Maye you can try asking Aquamarine. Otherwise, maybe you can make do with 2X 200g bottles.
  22. like the shell guy who drove up to Genting(?) on one tank of petrol? But some concluding (light-hearted!) points from this discussion: 10 ways to save fuel costs: 10. Work at petrol companies for extra discount 9. No passengers allowed - might as well remove all other car seats (excess load) 8. No golf bags - golfers take taxi 7. Install fan - cos no air-con 6. Pump at CC kang petrol kiosk 5. When parking, off engine and push car into parking lot 4. Put brick behind acceralator - guarantee rev below 2000rpm cos cannot press any further 3. Always drive slowly in extreme left lane (behind the lorries and trucks, but take heed, what you save on fuel may be what you have to pay for cleaning the car) 2. Lose weight - driver preferably below 55kg and the no.1 best way to save on fuel..... > > > > > > > > 1. Don't drive. Stay at home and take care of fish.
  23. Best way to get around this is to get a fuel efficient car, e.g. those with vvti engines. Then you dun really have to think so much about route, air-con etc. But I do agree with keeping rev low, between 2000 to 2500rpm. I achieved about 13.5km/l as compared with 12km/l on my Dad's Wish by driving below 100km/hr on expressways (My rpm for > 100km exceeds 2300rpm).
