It's not really true that flowers can last for only 2-3 days. For roses, you can actually invert them and dry them up. When it's dried, you can keep them as long as they want. So it's not really a waste of money. Gals just like to be pampered. I argee not that spend so much, it will be very diffcult to maintain the standard throughout the relationship. In the first place, You don't even have to spend so much to impress her, just do something simple and sweet, it will too touch the gal's heart. All the best!

I know in KL, they have waist height barriers for the LRTs. but i guess if one wants to commit suicide, there's no stopping pple from doing a high jump leap over it. say if the unfortunate pple who died at bishan met were really suicidal, it must be a v painful way to go.

You can go to market place and see whether any reefers are selling off their red sea prizm skimmer, alternatively, you can get a weipro skimmer. Both are hang on skimmers and within your budget.

my pump (aquabee) is submerged. Actually, I find that cable tie is not so secured ..... still can pull out. Reason I'm so concerned is that my chiller hose came loose and my pump sprayed water out of the tank. If I weren't at home, then.... gone case....... my fish would have become dried salted fish... hehe... that aside, anyone with other solutions? Considering the above happened to me, other reefers using cable ties, beware.......

Sorry if this sounds stupid.... not v good with DIY stuff.... I'm trying to secure my chiller hose to the pump and the hose is a little loose. Is there a non-rustable hose ring that can do the job? Or does anyone have an alternative way of doing it? Appreciate any comments.

well.... at least you've got your equipment still... can start a nicer tank again! I think sway things happen to everyone, especially reefers, when there are so many parameters to consider and maintain. I almost lost all my tank water yesterday when my chiller hose broke loose and the pump started spraying water everywhere..... luckily was at home though.... Anyway, good luck in your future tank! take care again not to load so much LR at one time in an existing tank with LS.

I hear there are cases like these in Singapore too. Pple throwing cats down from HDB flats, pouring hot water on them, running over dogs and leaving them to die.... It's a pity that some pple do such sadistic acts, but i believe they will get their just desserts one.... condemned to the 18th level of hell? So dear pple, please take care of your pets/ or show respect to the animals living in your area. They feel pain just as we do too....
