It's just my personal thought and theory, I don't like to use activated carbon unless I know it is absolutely phosphate free. My preference is to use Purigen. Poly filter claimed it filter heavy metals and nutrients, but carbon/Purigen absorbs toxin, so I will still use them. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

I have a tank of the same size and also using cp25 and rw8. The flow of cp25 is quite wide and linear but doesn't cover blind spot quite well, that's where you need rw8 to aim at blind spot. But I would suggest using two rw4 instead of one rw8, if your rock works is covering a lot of volume in the tank. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

In my opinion try not to add fish food, some of them may has very high phosphate content. Maybe you try frozen fish food but remember to get rid of the frozen water from the food before throwing into the tank. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
