Per my experience it is better to go drop in coil when your total water volume is >500L. Chiller takes too long to drop the temperature ever for the highest power rating type for home aquarium. For chiller, make sure the hot air is not back flow to your intake air inlet, else it will not get cold quickly. So it is a good idea to blow the hot air away using an extra fan if you have this concern. Water flow speed for small chiller is using 1000L/hr pump, bigger chiller needs 2000L/hr pump. Really depends on what fishes you have. If for normal fishes, TDO is excellent choice, pellet size depends on your fishes but usually small or medium size. If for fishes that are vegan diet, try get Algaemax which is an excellent food. TDO pellets float, Algaemax pellets sink. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
