  1. Im suspecting that my denitrifying bacteria is converting nitrite to nitrate faster than my nitrifying bacteria? My ammonia levels are always 0.5 to 1 ppm and sometimes i can see a reading of 0.25 ppm nitrate but after a few hours the reading drops back to 0 ppm but the ammonia still remains high . How is this possible Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  2. Recently i bought a bottle of fritz zyme 9 and added the stated amount into my cycling tank . I did a ammonia test after 24 hours . But what i notice is that the ammonia level is stuck at the range of 0.25 to 0.5 , same as before adding the bacteria in . I thought the bacteria is suppose to eliminate the ammonia? Im new to the hobby so i dont really know how long it will take or if its even working.. the instructions stated that it is safe to instantly add fish to the tank? Im wondering if this means if i use this bottle of bacteria , i have to add a hardy fish to do a fish-in cycle? Im so confused right now [emoji24] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
