  1. Just 1. My tank is 25 gallons. I have a very small urchin and it is like scraping every part of the rock bare. Except nooks and cranny where it can't get into. It's always eating away.
  2. Sure you can try. But don't have too high expectations for it. It cannot compare to GFO.
  3. I have tried phosguard. Imo it does not work. I could never drop my phosphate to within acceptable levels with phosguard in a high flow area in a filter bag. Conversely, gfo in a reactor can reduce phosphate to near 0ppm. And very fast too.
  4. Hi. Amk area counted as north? I have one small rbta to let go. Whatsapp me at 97605838 if interested
  5. Does anyone have experience with the tuxedo urchin? In Singapore I am only ever able to find the brown tuxedo urchin instead of the beautiful blue tuxedo urchin. I bought the urchin to scrape away the hard green algae at the live rock which the snails were never able to get at. To my surprise the urchin was very capable at removing those hard green algae even at rough rock surfaces. It scrapes so hard at the rock surface that what is left is bare white rock. However I noticed it also ate half of my golden clove. I'm worried it will eat my zoas too but so far it leaves them alone even if walking over them. Anyone have experience with these urchins and are they a threat to soft small corals like zoas?

  12. Challenger can buy. These remote wireless plugs quite common these days. Tried a few and dlink is best. Wemo is horrible. About 40 bucks per plug.
  13. Dlink remote wireless 3 pin plug also gives total load. Easier to install into current system as u just plug your main extension cord pin head into it.
  14. I only bought 1 clown from a fellow Reefer abt 2 weeks back.
  15. WTS tank bred normal picasso clown from Finns factory. Size at 1.5 inch from head to tail. Bought from another reefer a few weeks ago for my pico tank, but have to let go as re-purposing the pico tank for other uses. Bought at $40, selling at $30. Deal at YCK MRT or my house in AMK.
  16. U can try poly filter. I find that one removes ammonia quite well. And won't stall your cycle cuz it always leaves a small amount of ammonia to feed the bacteria. And when it absorbs ammonia it turns bright green colour so u know it's doing it's job. Testing the water further proves it works.
  17. look like grape.... wanna eat....
  18. Agree with Mike. Blue tang almost always gets ich. And if I see a coral frag I'm abt to buy in a ich infected tank I will refuse. The coral is unaffected but when I put the coral in my tank, even with dipping there is a high risk ich will transfer into my tank.
  19. Should be auto top off water. It would be where I will put it.
