really admire your preserverance and determination... spend so many days rescaping till perfection And also not to forget the 20% water change! its like 40gallons a week!

watch more games before making such comments.. if only u watched last season's fixture.. that was the ultimate... this match was nothing as compared to that And also of course Pires dive... not only once but also a few times... Actually, I got one view on the match which I'm not sure is valid or not. The way the Arsenal players surrounded the referee and pressured him into making decisions in their favour actually backfired. The referee may be just trying to make sure he's not pressured by the Arsenal players And hence all the decisions against Arsenal. Just an observation. Anyway.. these are what makes EPL so popular and football so exciting and interesting with all the controversies.... you can argue all you like with no conclusions....

Sorry to sound offensive but please stop asking the same thing. You can't have LPS with just normal FL and no matter how many times you ask, the answer is the same. This is the thread u started not long ago..... http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...0&hl=veliferium The answers are there already....

C328 at $10-11
-
lots of fishes! and very nice too... cant wait to see the full tank shot.. its really a very large tank and can have lots of fishes!
-
My guess is 80% means 80% accurate... $$$ means the cost to know the 'kangtao' .... just my guess lah.. dunno correct or not
-
whats the $$ thing? the cost for getting the tip from u?
-
Better to start with all the LR, sand and water in... then u can wait all you want... with any addition of LRs, u r going to start a mini cycle again..
-
yah, you are right... thats the reason why we are advised to stock slowly.. 1 fish every week or so... but that does that give us the reason to use fish to cycle?
-
yes i fully agree... once your tank is fully cycled with the beneficial bacteria colonising the LRs and bio-filters like bioballs, ceramic rings, biohomes etc.. you wont start another cycle. Unless of course u add 20 fishes in and cause a huge ammonia spike. Try to understand the ANN cycle and you will know what we mean.
-
the price include cabinet, sump and pipings.. cabinet is the one that is expensive
-
dun look for cheap tank and ignore the quality... u wont want your tank to leak after 1 year or the stand to warp after 2 years.... better to invest on a good quality tank and you wont have to worry. You won't want your living room to be flooded with saltwater. There are a few things to look out for. What type of wood is used for the stand? Best is chenggai wood. Thickness of glass? Silicone use? And how it is siliconed. A badly siliconed tank will result in leaks... For a new 4x2x2 tank... about $1500 or less will give u a worry free tank... otherewise look for a second hand tank but make sure its good enough to last a few years at least...
-
My suggestion would be to remove the bio-balls and invest on biohome... this will solve the problem of nitrate problems...
-
Dun like the idea of using fish to cycle... its too cruel... They are living creatures too...
-
Too many tangs for such a small tank.. where's the Tang Police? No way the tangs can be happy in such a small tank.. especially for strong swimmers like PBT which requires a lot of space to swim...

1. Add washed fine sands, gravel and those broken down coral pieces to the Bed of the tanks. No difference adding water first or sand first... but better to mix salt water first before adding sand 2. Add water(tapwater) to let it run overnite to de-chlorine the water. Look for marine salt which will had elements to do it for you. What do u mean by look for marine salt which wil had elements? All salt will have trace elements which have got nothing to do with cholrine. You can use de-chlorinator which will remove both chlorine and chloramine. Take note that chloramine cannot be removed by letting the water run overnight. 4. Add liverocks to the water once the water is mature? and monitor the water condition for 2-3weeks? with water tester ph, no2 and ammonia? Add a prawn to start the cycle. Do not do any tests during this stage. Once the prawn decompose, do a NO3 aka nitrate test. When the no3 register 0, you can start adding LS. If you are using uncured LR, there's no requirement to use a market prawn to start a cycle. You can do so if u want to. During the cycle, take note of ammonia and NO2 level. Once they reach zero, u can start stocking. It is almost impossible to get zero nitrates. Once NO2 and NH4 is zero, do a water change to lower down the nitrates and u r safe to start stocking SLOWLY 5. i have to make sure that ph is 8.0 to 8.3, no2 is 0 and ammonia 0 b4 i can add in any live stocks? Yes u r right. 7. Getting a protein skimmer and chiller at the mid of Nov and can kendly advise the setup of it? Protein skimmer alone and my canister filter outlet flow to the chiller? I ask a skimmer called Turbo-Skimmer. Selling $19.90 @ serangoon north a shop near rainbow. The Higher HP the chiller the colder? wat else a protein skimmer need ofr just need a air pump? so do i need to put air bubbles into the tank? i mean like fresh water tank pump water to the tank using those air stones or just use the protein skimmer can le? Try to invest on a better skimmer. It is important. Normally, we don't use air pump in a marine tank, just make sure there's a good flowrate in the tank and the surface is well agitated. For chiller, get one to suits your tank, over-sizing the chiller will incur unnecessary electricity bill 8. The resun chiller CL-300 i ask over my side here the shop owner say it's recommended for 2-3ft tank and can preset to 24 deg C. The lowest can set is 24 deg. Selling @ $280. 1 year warrenty. For resun try reading the specs first. The type of chiller is dependent on your tank size as well in term of litre. No requirement for reef tank to go down to such a low temperature. 26-27deg is good enough... All these info are compiled from my reading of the threads here. Try waiting for senior reefers to gives their opinion as well as my info may differ in other's view. Good luck in your setting up.

Price wise.. i think i roughly there lah... about that price.. not say $1k cheaper or what But its a nice watch though.. good price for someone who wants to own a tag heuer
-
agree... just make sure u got high enough calcium and kh + low phosphates.. coralline algae will just come...
-
Although his is a 3ft tank.. but look at his height and width.. it contains a larger volume than a 4x2x2.. so i think 1/3hp will be good...
