Never used red sea product so not too sure. Your kh issue, long term - dosing or calcium reactor. Short term - raise using kh powder(1dkh a day is safe) If tank is consuming kh then having dosing or calcium reactor can help buffer your kh at your desired level. 7 secs a a bit too long for sure will mess up your sand. Go for shorter pulse. Alternate the pulse between gyre a and b. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Using gyre controller? Try alternating gyre in pulsing mode. Gives a good back and forth motion and some turbulence all around the tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Bro you got 2 gyre...canot be you not getting much flow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Wont go wrong with hydra 52 hd or radions. Good for lps and sps. I would'nt try anything else and then in the end need to spend more money. Get it right the first time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Gyre after awhile just check the propeller rubber bushings. Will wear off overtime and slow down your wave. Bro can share your orphek settings with me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Moving aiptasia infested rock/coral to new tank
quarantasei replied to Harumachibito's topic in Soft Coral Forum
Hit and miss. Most times you will end up having more aiptasia. Need to really aim the mouth and hope its glued shut. Otherwise its going to spurt more spores. I usually off all pump and wavemaker and after treating with aiptasia x I will siphon and then glue the spot. Peppermint shrimp work the best but you need a lot of it and it is not cheap. AloysiusMun 38gallon Lagoon (60x60x40cm)
quarantasei replied to AloysiusMun's topic in Members Tank & Specs
Good choice on the DE rocks. I actually used them in my established tank to change some scaping and very minimal leeching. So their claim is definitely legit. It is quite porous too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro -
Tip top! Got win totq before? If not it should. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Always nice to see a new tank build thread. The thought planning process just keeps getting better and better which in turn helps other reefers create a successful system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
