  11. It depends what dry base rock you are using? Some branded dry rocks is pre cured which you can put into the tank directly while dead rock from drying is better to cured it first. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  12. The best way to combat cyno which is happening in your tank now is to do a major water change and siphon out as much cyno algae as you can at the same time. After which switch off all the light for two to three day ( depending on the numbers of corals you have in your tank) , to stop the cyno from growing again. Alternatively, there are some products in the market that can help combat cyno alage like zeovit cyno clean, A balance, red slime remover and bacteria like MB7. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk

  15. How old is your tank? If it is not too serious yet, off your light for two to three day will help keeping it from spreading including a good siphon of the cyno from the rock and sand bed during water change. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk

  17. algae bloom is quite common in a newly setup tank, just be patient and you will ride through this period very soon. As suggest by patrick, try looking into ways to control the nutrients ( Which is mainly phosphate & nitrate ) in your tank i,e ; running some p04 removal media, nitrate remover media ,algae scrubber or refugium ect..
  18. Yes, rowaphos should be use during cycling to eliminate any phosphate leeching from your rock ,sand ect..
  19. Nice scape CW !! Maybe you want to consider covering up your reactor from the refugium light as it can cause unwanted algae growth inside your reactor.
  20. So you bought the anemone from lck? Great to see that your clownfish is hosting on it . Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
