  1. The skimmer look sleek. Did it manage to skin anything out from the water? Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  2. Ideally it should be a complete system with wave maker and filteration ect.. but I know it can be challenging to have those for most of us. What I did previously was QT the fish in a large blue Square tube with air stone and some filter media and doing a water change every few day. I also added small amount of Seachem copper to speed up the QT process. After the QT period, I will add the fish in a tank divided section , where I will observe for any fish aggression and any ich outbreak. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  3. You can skip the N02 test kit but is more important to have the amonia test kit so that you are able to check the start of the cycling and end of the cycling when the amonia fall back to zero. You need not run your bio pallet during cycling as this might hinder the whole cycling process. Maybe run it after the whole tank cycling process completed, after you do a water change. 6. your existing tang in your tank might try to find trouble when you add your new AT. You could also try isolate it in a box or via a tank divider until the new fish stabilize and the old fish get used to the new addition. You might also want to watch out the issue which like all tang family, AT is an ich magnet so better to QT it properly when buying from lfs or buy from reefer from established tank setup. 15. Maybe it could be a good ideal also to have some form of valve to separate the refugium linking to the main tank in the event of having the need to treat your main tank with medicine esp copper than could affect your refugium . Just my suggestion Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  16. This is one of the more gentle coral dip I have tried so far as well, and is safe to overdose it. To be sure all pests are detach from the corals, you can use either a small wave maler or blower to blow the coral as well during the dipping process. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
