Wow.. got over 20 PM in less than a day.. Sorry for those which i couldn't reply cos it has been spitted into a few newbie / reefer whom just started the hobby..
Hi thomas,
Yes, you are right i do encounter this issue as well in my old 4ft setup.. Had alot of problem shifting and rescarpping the rocks ect.. So i hope all the big rocks i got this time will minimize the shifting
I believe filter wool ( Mechnical filteration ) is not really necessary, unless you have descpline to clean / replace it regularly.. A good skimmer should be able to skim out all the waste, and if you go diving in the water you will see those floating particles around you as well in the natural environment ..
Hi,
Got about one pail of spare rocks to give away after scapping for my new tank. Mostly medium and small size rocks, tonga branch but some with coraline algae growth on it..
Priority will be given to newbie in the forum or those which is starting up their first marine tank..
Collection will be during this weekend only in CCK.
Please PM me if interested.
thanks
they are a few ways you can save on spending on the live rocks, using partial dead rocks mixed with some quality live rocks or getting matured rocks from one of the reefer in the pasar malam section lor ...
Sure, think i will do so during the weekend.. currently fulfilling my duty serving the country these two week , haven;t got time to take more photos yet but will do so during the weekend..
i was away for 4 day as well and before i leave, i make sure that the skimmer cup is clean, water level is top up ( Or topping up some spare ) , and using a auto feeder with pallets foods will also helps to feed your fish.
Best way of course is to get a friend to come over to look at your tank every two day, as you will never know what might happen..
Did all the topic has this same problem or ?? it shouldnt need any additional installation of java application in order to see this buttom.. i am wondering why too..
