For a small tank I would not recommend the use of lacl as like what someone mention it is too risky. Overdose could wape out the tank, there is many other cost effective method to control p04 in a small tank.. I.e; phosguard, rowaphos, poly filter ect.. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

The flow rate will depend on the water pressure of your house as well. Higher the pressure, faster the ro water being produced. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

You can consider running a booster pump which will increase the production of the good water and reduce waste water output. I keep the waste water which is high in tds for watering of plant which is quite good . Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

I would go for chaeto if there is enough space for its growth, else ATS work great as well. Another problem with running biopallets , cyno issue tends to be common as it is hard to control the carbon dosing which is the melting of the pellets vs bioload although Switching to certain brands/ type will help .
