Maybe you can start with doing some research and come up with a "Fish list" with a list of fishes you want to keep and stick to it. It will be easier this way and avoid any territory or aggression issues along the way. The scape of the tank play a part too in avoiding tank aggression . Happy hunting.

coral turning brown is not due to light alone, it could be due to your nutrient level ( N03 and P04) , what is your N03 and P04 level now ?
